They finished their drinks and headed out, piling into a waiting black SUV. The city blurred past in streaks of neon as they arrived at Dirty Angels. Elizabeth's stomach gave a small flip, she was sure this was the spot Marisol had inherited a share in after her family's messy estate. She didn't know if Marisol had claimed it yet, hadn't heard anything definitive. She said nothing, letting the thought slide away.

She is alone and going to visit the city for the first time. "Good morning, Mrs. Black," Angela opened the door of the car for her when Austin's sports car passed by them. "I want to reach here, please drive me to this address " Myra requested and her tone was so calm and soft. As Myra sat in the passenger seat, Angela drove fast towards the destination. She was instructing her about the car and also acknowledging Myra about the roads and places of the city. She parked the car nearby the massive building. Angela pointed, "Madam, we are here. The office is on the twenty-fifth floor."

I looked down at the map one last time, at that bleeding black dot labeled Angelic Moon, and whispered in a voice that promised ruin: “Let the bastard wait. His reckoning comes tomorrow.”

“Drive, Cassian. Just drive the car.” I swallow the thick lump forming in my throat; my hands tremble slightly as I start to drive and pull safely onto the correct side of the road. The journey back to the mansion is agonizing. The silence stretches between us, thick, heavy, and completely suffocating. I glance at her every few minutes, praying for a softening in her posture, but she remains rigid. She has completely shut herself off from me. We eventually pull up to the front doors of the mansion. Before I can even turn the engine off, Angel unbuckles her seatbelt, throws her door open, and storms out.

Moving on she strolled along Reardon Drive in the dark night, cursing as she kept carrying her heavy legs off the ground with each pace. Her neck still hurts from his fingers. The rain gradually ceased but her body was cold and soaked, she shivered and rubbed her wet shoulders with hands crossed over.
