Knox is at the bottom of the steps giving instructions to someone who looks like a nurse. I walk down the steps and stand beside Knox. He glances down and gives me a big smile, “Hey, baby! You’re just in time,” he points to the woman in the scrubs, “This is Niki, she’s going to be moving in.” The news strikes me as odd. Who is this woman, and why the hell is she moving in? I squint my eyes, glaring at Knox, jealousy oozing from every pore. He must realize what I’m thinking because his eyes widen, and he’s quick to explain the whole situation.
