The Alpha King's Hated Slave

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

She said dutifully, sinking to the ground around her, she continued writing. She has always loved reading and writing. Only a few women in their time can read and write. Women who aren't slaves have no business with reading and writing. They keep homes and sew clothes and trade. But she loved it. She has a whole library in her bedroom when she was still in Mombana. She forced herself to stop thinking of those times. There is no need to rehearse the past. She has to remind herself that she's no longer a princess but a slave.

The devil is a liar if he thinks he is going to take a innocent child from a pure & innocent mother like Princess Danika. I am so glad Princess Kamara do not want King Lucien & gave Princess Danika great advice about who she is & to fight for herself & her baby. Bring Callan now so, King can move on

why is this in top 10?!? its worst!!! Jumbled chapters and repeated chapters, the author get so much money from repeated chapters. Worst kind of author. And vetta should have been punished to what she did to Princess Danika butshe made her good in the end. watdahell?!? dont read it, waste of money!!

The Search for Freedom

The Search for Freedom

I remembered when I was sitting there on the couch inside the living room of the mansion; walking on the passageway to the library, reading novels, playing with people around, and many others. If I could survive the ordeal, I would never dream for anything again, I would be contented from anything I have, like those people who didn't had what I have, but though they were poor, they didn't assume for anything. They were contented of what they had and of what they could get. I also wanted to be the same with those people, because they weren't pursued by danger and living a simple life.

The Awakening of Slave

The Awakening of Slave

Crouching, I picked up the paper and unfolded it slowly. The words blurred at first. My heart raced, my mind struggling to process what I was reading. But then the words sharpened. Voluntary agreement. Labor rights forfeited. Personal freedom surrendered. Property of…the Morven family? Length of contract…indefinite. My fingers curled around the paper as my blood froze. With my eyes averted, I whispered: “You sold me.” “No,” Kalen replies, almost bored. “You sold yourself. Signed and everything. It’s all right there.”

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

That was the account of a woman who had bought candles on sale and had eaten the meal alone and had worn the green dress to a dinner she attended by herself. "Yes," I said. "I am ready." "Good," she said. "Call me after the Thursday meeting." I put the phone down. Went to the bassinet. Picked up Eleanor. She looked at me with the dark, patient eyes. "Someone is going to publish the book," I said. She looked at me. "The book I wrote for the women in the long middle," I said. She kept looking. "You were born in the chapter about arrival," I said. "You are in the book."

Her Daughter’s Lover

Her Daughter’s Lover

I closed the notebook hugged it to my chest and let myself breathe — deep, full, frightening breaths. Breaths that tasted like possibility. Breaths that tasted like rebirth. And it hit me: Maybe this story wasn’t about three brothers. Maybe it was about one woman… finally becoming someone she never believed she had the right to be.

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

The ink seared as it touched her chest. It wasn’t just a pain of the flesh, it rewrote her. Reached into the marrow, the soul, the stories she didn’t even know she’d told herself. The words burned, etched deeper than scars: She dies unloved. Liora screamed not from agony, but from the violation. The sentence tried to root itself in her, To become truth, Her hands shook as she held the blood-bound book against her ribs.

Ex Wife to The Billionaire, Mother to His Twins Heir

"You can't write the ending when you don't know how it ends. Now she knows enough of the story to share it." "Will there be a sequel?" someone else asked. I laughed. "There's always a sequel. The story doesn't end with me. It continues with all of them." I gestured to Hope. "With my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They're writing the sequel right now." During a signing in New York, a woman approached with tears streaming down her face. "Thank you," she said simply. "I was ready to give up on my abusive marriage. Your book showed me I could survive leaving. I left last week. Me and my two kids."

The buzzing sound of the alarm clock close to the lamp woke me up harshly-7:00am. I blinked one eye, the other closed tightly, fighting the ray of sunlight threatening to make me blind.
