His hands roam my legs while I rest my head on his chest.
“Do you want to head to the bathroom? Nate asks, and I move my toes to try them out.
“Yes, I think my legs will hold me…” My fingers work again. I can hold the mug, and my shivering is significantly reduced. “I’m warming up. Just keep your hands on me.”
“I can do that. You’re not hard to please,” he laughs, and the way his chest reverberates, shaking my head, nausea hits me again.
I take a slow, deep breath and silently beg Nate to stop moving. Like he can read my mind, he stills, and we sit silently and motionless for a while.
