Benedict turns and looks at me, nodding slightly before turning away again. When Bethany finally stops crying, she pulls away from me. I reach up and grab the box of tissues off the desk and hand them to her. “What are we going to do now?” she asks Benedict. “I have to address the pack. I have to tell them that their Luna has been banished …” he stops, as he gets choked up. I stand and walk over to him. He tugs me into his arms, burying his face in my neck and breathing deeply.

I haven’t heard from him or seen him. I couldn’t go to his pack because his mother banished me when she was Luna. You can leave now." One of them threw a few sets of clean clothes at my feet, his tone laced with disdain.

Let me guess, she told you about how she was banished from the kingdom and excluded the main details" He paused and Zayn's eyes widened, "What detail? She built a pack under her father's nose, he saw her as a threat and tried to eliminate her but her grandmother helped her escape with the pack. What am I missing?"
