They had tried so many times to make me feel as if I was still a part of a pack, but it didn't feel the same. So, being asked to forgive the entire Crescent Moon was too much. It was unfair. They falsely accused me of stealing money from them, but I left empty-handed when they banished me. "Thank you, Nora," I sniffled, wiping the tears on my cheeks. "But I have to go." "You're leaving?" She asked as I took my handbag from the bed and headed to the door. "Yes, I'm going back home. As long as I'm here, Leo won't leave me alone." Banish that woman!” That's the word my own pack yells over and over again. I can't quite imagine that they would be able to say that to their own Luna. How did they manage to banish me away? The thought gutted me and I turned around to watch my little boy soundly asleep in the crib they'd provided for me. But I still needed to leave. I couldn't guarantee what they'd do to me afterward. And now, I was about to make Nadia my mate, the very person who had played a huge part in Alana's banishment.

Thankfully, before he could say what he was thinking. Vanquish gave his brother an assessing look. Seeing the severity there, Vanquish subsided with a single, slow nod. I looked from one to the other and remembered why ‘banished’ had triggered me. I recalled what Lyra Lani had told me.

I stepped back a little, his bearing voice over shadowing me, I could feel my legs dropping to the floor. "Forgive me Alpha," I said and they all gazed at me pitifully. He sat on his chair. "Better, Now, leave," He commanded. I turned back to leave, but suddenly, remembering my mate, I turned to gaze at Ken, he looked at me, his eyes were telling me not to worry to be calm, but I couldn't find myself being calm. I was worried. The Alpha stood up with his Luna. He turned towards Ken. "You are officially banished, get out if my pack," He growled.

"You're banished from my pack; you've been banished since the first day I saw you." My eyes widened, and I felt like I just fainted and resurrected. I would have been on the ground by now, but thanks to the chain holding me to the woods, I was still standing and didn't look too fazed. But within me, I felt my world crumbling, my mind racing with thoughts. I never imagined that one day I'd be banished from my pack and turn into a rogue. But people like me don't get banished; the worst criminal in this pack hasn't been banished. Why me? Would I still be taken away from my foster family, just as how I was taken from my biological family?
