I was devastated. Wanting to comfort it as it lay dying, I sang it a song. I don’t remember what song it was. But something happened during my song. I could feel some kind of power resonate with every lyric. Then, as if by magic, the bird’s wing healed, and its neck straightened out. I remember the bird sitting up and giving me a regal bow before it took off in flight. It was the most wondrous and unbelievable experience that I’ve ever had.

[Leo’s POV] I hold my little songbird against me while her body shakes from the sobs that are escaping her. Even if I was worried about her seeing my true identity, there was just no way it could happen given her state, and I was taking comfort in that. “It’s alright,” I murmur, beginning to rub gentle circles on her back. “It’s all going to be alright.” As I speak, I can feel her beginning to relax, but there is still a long way to go. And even though I know I shouldn’t, I begin to untangle her until she can look at me and I can begin to get lost in her sparkling blue eyes.

It's just a lazy, slightly off‑beat melody from something with feathers and absolutely no interest in my trauma. One trill in the song was… wrong, somehow—a "note a fraction sharp," like a recording glitched for half a second, and then smoothed over. My eyes stayed closed. Part of me was afraid that if I opened them, I’d see castle stones or neon sky or the inside of a bus.

I paced around nervously while she just laughed at me. "Calm down missy." "Calm down?, I'm meeting his mom, his freaking mother Naomi, how the hell can I be calm?" Henry had called me earlier and told me to get ready, he said he'll be at my place in half an hour and we would be going to his mother's place. "You look awesome babe." "You think so?"I accessed myself in the mirror for the third time. Naomi had chosen a blue dress that was flair from the waist down because of my stomach. It stopped just at my knees and had silver decorations all over it.

Red said. Blue stepped back, ready to begin the serenade. “Today is so special for both of us, so I want to honor you with a song,” Blue began. He smiled and raised his right hand. “I promise I won’t complain about my hands hurting today—because I’m singing for the person I love the most… you.” Red smiled as tears began to well up in his eyes. It made him so happy to see his brother doing something just to make him smile. Blue started to play his guitar. The song he had chosen for his twin was “One Friend” by Dan Seals. For him, it was the perfect song to represent their relationship as brothers and best friends.

Their faces screamed 'you should be welcome' while looking at Hector. “Hi, Bluey! Have you rest well?” Sirene asked Bluey. Bluey looked up at Soheila with sleepy eyes. “Chirp, chirp.” she answered while nodding Sirene hugged her. “You did a great job, you know that?” She said. The six birds' spirit beasts were not accustomed on fighting and it was their first time to have a battle. It was good that their enemies were a rank lower than them, so they were not that hurt.

Xie Hien looked at Blue Firebird hopefully, but there was no response even after Xie Hien waited for half an hour. Rrrrrrrr... The Blue Firebird finally looked up at the sky. Its gaze seemed to be outside of this world itself, which even Xie Hien and the other two could not understand.
