Chapter 6 Scarlett POV On our drive back to the packhouse, I mind link Cayden to let him know that I’m on my way back and that Raul will be staying the night so that he can also meet with Bruno and my parents in the morning. I then mind link Aurora, the pack’s Head Omega, to let her know that Raul will be spending the night and to please make up a room for him on the Alpha floor. I know good and damn well that Raul will be sleeping in my suite with me—and frankly, Aurora probably knows it, too—but this way we can at least make it look that everything is platonic.

I hear his voice guiding me, “Savannah, walk through the forest with me” Suddenly I’m barefoot, walking through a pine forest. I hear a wolf howling. I know that howl, it’s my wolf. It’s Sahara. “Sahara, I’m coming girl”. The howls become more panicked. She’s trapped. I start running towards her. She’s calling for me, frantically.

“From today onwards, Kieran is the new Luna of our pack and you will all treat her with the respect she deserves” One by one, I watched their heads bow in reverence. It was supposed to feel nice but it didn't. I ignored the holes that Sabrina was burning into my head. If I thought this was somewhat over, then clearly I was just being delusional.

A greenish tea with a soothing aroma. “Good morning, Luna. I trust you slept well. I brought you a glass of herbal tea. The shaman asked me to bring it to you. He said you should drink this to regain your strength from everything that happened yesterday.” she said gently. I blink slowly at her still trying to understand everything. Do I have a maid assigned to me? Why did she call me Luna? Is she sure that she is in the right room and talking to the right person because I was definitely not Luna and just a common breeder?

She turned to Takumi. “She's so small it's adorable. You found yourself a cute one, that's for sure. Hi, I'm Sora.” “I'm...” “Twilight, yes I know. Toshi was the only one who cared enough to tell me about you. It breaks my heart to know that you don't tell me about these things, Takumi, it really does.” She clutched her chest dramatically. “Are you sure you didn't pressure him into telling you?” She stuck her tongue out at him playfully. Then she pulled Twilight to the side, out of earshot from Takumi.
