The next morning, I walked over to my stall. My name, *SIMPSON*, was printed in gold letters above my locker. I pulled out my key and turned the lock. A small piece of paper was sitting right on top of my folded jersey. It looked out of place against the white fabric. I reached out and picked it up.

He shook his head "No way, I'm not going to follow her around like a lost puppy just like you did. I'll be much more smoother than you" I let out a short hysterical laugh "Me? I did not follow her around like a lost puppy" "Yes, you did. She wouldn't give you the time of day because she was planning to reject you so you began following her around like a simp" I clenched my fist "I am not a simp" He snickered "Usually you aren't, but for Harvey; you most definitely are" I grabbed a small wooden figurine from the bedside drawer and threw it at him but he dodged it easily, cackling with laughter as he did

He then reached for a coffee pot, pouring himself a fresh cup of steaming coffee to replace the now-empty one he had been sipping from earlier. Theo let out a contented sigh and replied, "I'm so tired," accompanied by a dramatic stretch of his arms, as if to emphasize the extent of his fatigue. With a playful twinkle in his eyes, he turned to Mr. Simpson, his usually stoic uncle. "Uncle," Theo began, searching for the right words to describe Mr. Simpson's perpetual demeanor, "you look... as usual." He flashed another friendly smile, making it clear that his observation was meant in good humor.

“You were about to say I should just suck it up and keep doing it? It’s because you think that this is my chance to make up with you, right? You actually think you’re that important?” Jason froze, the words he wanted to say stuck in his throat. For a moment, it was as if he had been doused in chili juice. It was stinging and unbearable. I laughed even louder. “A man who doesn’t even respect himself is no better than rotten cabbage. You’re disgusting. Now get the hell out of my sight.” His temple twitched, his face turned bright red, and his hand trembled as he pointed at me. “Y-you’ll regret this!”
