"Okay, okay, sorry. I will shut up," I said. I didn't want to end up with my mouth glued shut. As Natasha continued with her ritual, I couldn't help but be intrigued by her actions. I had never met anyone practicing magic before, and watching it was mesmerizing.

Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Natasha Greene, and I am Emma White’s best friend. She wrote enough about me that you probably already know who I am. Brenda asked now dropping the fork on the plate Natasha stared at her boldly,she could see the resemblance between them. “Am Natasha Smith, Parker's daughter and your daughter”. The room became silent,as though the whole building was attentive to what was going on. Mrs Rasemela stared at her as she kept silent. For some reason she wasn't sure if Natasha had gone crazy all of a sudden

"Please, ma'am. Let's not make this difficult." "I'm not going anywhere!" My hand finds a heavy crystal paperweight on the nearby table. I grab it, feeling its substantial weight. "Not until my father tells me why he's betraying me." "Put that down, Elise," my father's voice hardens. "You're only proving my point." "Oh, really? I'm crazy just because I discovered the truth?" My fingers tighten around the smooth crystal. Before he can answer, the door opens again. Natasha glides in, wearing a form-fitting black dress that hugs every curve. Her hair cascades over her shoulders in perfect waves. Even at this late hour, her makeup remains flawless.

She watched the man trudge back to his seat. “What can I do for you, Miss?” asked Dr. Elena, in her ever intimidating and commanding voice, but this time with a note of distaste. Natasha spun her head to find the heavy-set woman, standing right in front of her, and dwarfing her. Natasha opened her mouth, but closed it, as she found her mind blank. She realized in anger how intimidated she felt in the dominating presence of this large woman. Dr. Elena's face relaxed, and she smiled. Her smile looked cunning, Natasha mused. To Natasha, it seemed Elena knew the effect, and power she had over her, through intimidation by her size, and the power she had acquired over the years.

Adam shrugs while he gives me a side glance to let me know he can see straight through me. “For the kids.” I say, Kristina now giving me a knowing look. Damn, her and Adam have got that non-verbal communication down to a science. “Yeah sure, for the kids.” Adam says with just a touch of sarcasm. “I'm sure you two teachers will do a great job,” I say, vowing to myself that those will be my last words of the night. “Natasha’s actually the librarian,” Kristina offers. Of course she is. She couldn't falter even a fragment from my sixteen year old naughty librarian fantasy.

She gave me a drop-down of everything I had to know, the more important things that would help me stay out of trouble with the elites. I was surprised when she said she was only here for fun, unlike me who thought she could dream of a better life. I asked for notes and she let me know the devastating news.

I had told Natasha to remove the neck pendant and bracelets. Because they would suspect something, if I told she's a rogue but didn't smell like one. ' You wouldn't believe what I had to go through to convince them why I don't smell one.' Especially when I know I can't reveal the fact I'm a witch, or else I'd be thrown into the dungeon.
