Nathan Harris Criminal Minds Novels & Stories

Athena was probably at the office, she didn’t lose her job but she had to work past shift hours. I walked towards the magazine stand. “Let’s get jealous over fashion models.” I said to myself. Just as I was glancing over Vogue and Cosmo magazines, my eyes stopped on the newspaper headline. ‘Ray Parker, the famous hacker, finally behind bars.’ “No way!” I breathed out, grabbing the magazine. My eyes wide open and my heart beating speedily. I blinked, not believing the words. I grabbed another newspaper, it had similar headlines. ‘Bianchi Enterprises Hacking Case finally closed. Hacker is sentenced to jail.’

This is all due to Nathan's systems being compromised that they need a new safe house. Victor hasn't been to the place before. The Bronx is so out of the way, so constricted that even Ariadne has trouble avoiding the traffic. Two extended horn beeps later, they finally make it to the tattoo parlor. "This is it?" Ariadne asks, frowning. Each Alpha has their style. Nathan likes glass buildings. Victor prefers underground, neatly ordered cubicle spaces. Harry fancied needles and pain. So actually, it's the last who is the most suited to the criminal life.

A headline he wasn’t prepared to see today, or anytime soon: “DANIEL ZURICH & NATHAN HALE SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT — MONEY LAUNDERING, FINANCIAL TERROR CASE, KIDNAPPING CONSPIRACIES.” Adrian froze. The pen slipped slightly in his fingers. He set it down carefully. Slowly. Then stood up and walked to the TV. The anchor’s lips moved silently—the volume muted as always—but he didn’t need sound. The images were enough. Mugshots first. Then a clip of the sentencing. Then them being escorted in cuffs through a courthouse hallway. Daniel Zurich. Nathan Hale. Names he’d heard too many times. Men he’d imagined again and again—dark, dangerous, monstrous, almost inhuman.

Raven DeLuca said and tilted his head. He's always impatient. For me, Raven is the most troublesome member of Nexus. He kills people for enjoyment. He enjoys killing people; he's often called "Nexus’ psychopath" by other underground organizations. For him, seeing the blood of the people he kills is entertaining. He also often disobeys his role in operations, which is why our new leader, Liham Candreva, keeps a close eye on him. He's not an official member but he became the leader because of his capabilities. He knows how to handle all of us.

He wasn’t haunted by what he did — he was haunted by how easily it had to be done. The speaker on the desk blinked once — a small light, a silent notification. He pressed it. “Status,” he said. A distorted voice came through — calm, professional. “Nathan Hawkins was taken. He’s secure.” Dan didn’t respond immediately. He glanced at the folder again, at the image of Ark and Storm. The board was aligning faster than he’d anticipated. “Keep him alive,” he said finally. “For now.” “Yes, sir.” The line went dead.

It was only the beginning, if anything. As security personnel rushed into the flaming warehouse, the sirens outside grew louder. Gregor and Sophia were already ahead, hiding next to the cars. However, Nathan couldn't get rid of the thought that this was precisely what their adversary desired. A pursuit. A game. And he was taking full advantage of it. Her voice was scratchy as Anita gulped hard. "The Architect—who the hell is he?" Nathan's thoughts were racing as he gripped the encrypted drive tightly. He had devoted years to establishing his empire, evading adversaries, and outwitting dangers. But this—this was something else. This was not a competitor. This individual was aware of his past.

He became a strategist, a master chess player orchestrating a symphony of calculated maneuvers. In the stillness of the night, Nathan's mind became a cauldron of strategy and intuition. His thoughts swirled like eddies in a tempestuous sea, pulling together threads of information and weaving them into a tapestry of understanding. He knew he had to outwit these malicious rogues, staying one step ahead of their every move. For the lives of his pack members and the safety of Claire, he would leave no stone unturned.

“You’re making a mistake.” Detective Harris, a seasoned officer with sharp eyes and an even sharper instinct, smirked as he held up a thick folder. “Funny, because this evidence says otherwise.” He flipped it open, letting Nelson catch a glimpse of the incriminating documents. “Fraud, money laundering, arms trafficking, kidnapping, and let’s not forget attempted murder.” Harris clucked his tongue. “Quite the collection, Nelson.” Nelson’s jaw clenched, but he didn’t say a word. His eyes flickered over the crowd, scanning for any sign of weakness, any escape route.

I defended myself, “And you thought walking through the busiest district in Moonfall alone was a good idea?” “I didn’t expect them to already be here.” Nathan ran a frustrated hand through his hair. “They’re not just here, Chris,” he said sharply. “They’re hunting.” The word hung heavily between us and I sank into the chair near the window. “They’re offering rewards,” I said quietly and Nathan stopped pacing. “That’s bad.” “Yes.” “In this city, someone will sell that information eventually.” I already knew that. Information was just another form of currency.

There was no fears on your face like when you faced me. "I never get involved in these things, you know that! " I turned my back and did not want to talk too much with him. Recently, I had no idea to gossip with him and said meaningless things. Nathan was a brilliant outstanding Doctor Vampire who liked to work on strange things in the lab. The last time he developed a drug that can control the mind of Vampires, but he was quickly rejected by his family and banned selling it to the people in the town. But he secrtely told it to me, and gave me some to save for future uses. But, in my power and ability, there was no need for the drugs. So I just put the drugs in my drawer the moment he gave m
