I did it because Mira was watching me. And I was right about that much at least. When I broke the kiss with Lena, I glanced across the room. Mira hadn’t moved. Her mouth was slightly agape and her eyes were wide. She was a statue, frozen in shock. Her little fists clenched at her sides. The mating bond arced between us, as though someone had doused it in petrol and set it aflame for good measure. I gave a little smile as I could see her fuming. She was… pissed.

Mira's eyes fluttered open. However, she was instantly looking at Azarias, who was also looking at her. She raised her eyebrow and smiled. Azarias did the same. He smiled and ruffled her hair lovingly, reaching out further to embrace her. They didn't even care about the eyes looking at them as if expecting a good drama. Mira changed her position. She now had her back leaning against Azarias's sturdy chest. She went back closing her eyes, ignoring Jason as if he didn't even exist.

Together, we would unravel the mysteries that had surfaced, peering into the shadows to uncover the underlying truth. As the door opened and Mira stepped into the room, her presence exuded a calm and collected aura. I regarded her with a mixture of seriousness and resolve. “Mira, there's something about Nate. Mira gilded towards me with a sense of purpose, her presence commanding attention. As she turned the knob on the door, her eyes met mine, and a knowing smile graced her lips. I couldn't help but be captivated by her allure and grace.

She was strong while he glared at her and tried no non verbally intimidate her into backing down. She was not going to and I was so proud of her strength and conviction. He growled low but one warming look from Kane had him rethinking his behaviour.

Kian finally pulled her behind a wall , pinned her against it and asked. " Mira. Leave those creatures and Watchers and everything else supernatural behind. Forget what we heard and saw back at the mountain. Be the girl who came under my wheels in that rainy day. Now tell me, as that girl... what's bothering you? I can clearly see you distressed. " Mira's eyes flickered as his words spilled out of his lips one by one. And then she burst into tears over his shoulder. The sky thundered aloud along with her silent whimpers as she dig her face into his clothes, while he hugged her tight.

Mage looked at her through the mirror. “Do not worry Luna, we are taking you to a place you will like.” She said. Mira sat back, trying not to roll her eyes. “I have no doubt,” Mira muttered, trying not to be mean to anyone. For a second, she couldn't help but think she was in a human trafficking or something. However, Mira simply glanced at the beautiful forest, the only thing that felt normal to her, after being in a mess that she was deep in.

I demanded again, my heart starting to race. Mira hesitated and that hesitation told me everything. “Mira.” She exhaled slowly, dragging a hand down her face like she was trying to gather the energy to deal with this. “Fine,” she muttered. “But if you pass out again, I’m blaming you.” “I won’t pass out,” I shot back. She gave me a look that clearly said she didn’t believe me, but she continued anyway. “You almost made the future Alpha and his precious Luna tear each other apart,” she said bluntly.

She placed hers in mine, and I pressed a kiss to her knuckles. “The pleasure is all mine, Luna…” Our eyes met—she was red as a tomato. “Mi…Mi…Mirabel. Luna Mirabel.” I tilted my head. “Suits. Bad choice of mate, though.” “Goddess,” Adolf mumbled beside me. I felt Kane’s stare burn, but the smile never left my face. Finally, Kane wrapped an arm around his Luna and pulled her away. I chuckled. “How about you go take that rest, Mira? This won’t take long.”
