AHHHHHHH," Advica retrieved her hand calmly from his, leaving one of her needles planted on his left wrist. The rogue's face was red with bulging veins on his neck. Whatever her small needle did, it was visibly painful.

My sentence was cut off when he slammed his gun down on my face. "Bitch you talk too much!" A deep grumpy voice yelled at me. I clutched my bloody nose and winced in pain when I saw my fingers coated with blood. I also tasted the metallic tang of blood in my mouth. "What-" I tried to say again but I felt a sharp point of a needle on my neck before I could process what's happening. Black dots started dancing in front of my eyes and then darkness enveloped me. I didn't realize, that was gonna be the last day in my life that I would ever be normal again or go back to my old self.

She grabbed the ashtray from the table and smashed it viciously toward my head. Bang! Blood immediately began pouring down my face. "Such a tiny favor, and you keep bringing it up again and again? If I hadn’t been earning money to support you all these years, a useless piece of trash like you would’ve ended up begging on the streets long ago. This is vengeance. I want to be sick. The dagger remains poised above my head, the sirens are wailing my mind is torn in two. All the embarrassment at being fooled by Tange. The shame at Vez being here the whole time with me not realising. I promised Zeke vengeance, that the death of his brother would not go unpunished. Every road, every sign and feeling in my chest is pointing towards me plunging the blade downwards and claiming my glorious victory. I inhale deeply.

Damon choked, trying one last, pathetic attempt to break Vladimir’s focus with a taunt about my vulnerability. Words. Lies. Noise. He is noise. He is irrelevant.
