I quickly put on the same kind of uniform as Elsa; which comprised of a dirty brown leather sleeveless top, matching pants that fit her slim body quite well and boots. We live in a lovely City, if you like a messy landscape with old rusty machines scattered about the whole place. Well not entirely the whole place just our side of the city, then it is lovely indeed. You see, our city has two residential areas, the Lower district and the Higher district. The Higher district has pretty houses, properly planned and laid out roads that we can only admire from afar because we are not allowed to just go in there when ever we want. Our own district which is the Lower one, isn't as pretty, the houses

"S-so, the locality you live in, is it … hospitable? I am just asking because I want to know how it is going over there. I don't have the time to check on every locality so I am just asking. There is no other intention behind that." Shut up! Just shut the fuck up, Eden! Noel looked at him blankly for a second before going to his phone to type as the two sat in silence. He is quick in typing. Eden thought, trying to keep his eyes on the road and not … anywhere else. But it takes a while to type long sentences. Waiting in silence is a pain. "The locality is fine. I like the way the neighbours don't come to visit me." The voice began, making Eden sigh with relief.

I didn't kiss a guy for 5 years I'm pretty nervous. And then he touches my lips and it's going automatically. I get lost and almost forget where we are when suddenly the bathroom door opens and I remember Defne in it. I immediately let go of his lips and get into Deniz room before she gets out. "Vay, vay, vay, eniste!" Defne playfully adds in Turkish saying wow three times and uncle to Hudson. Eniste is used in Turkish as the husband of the sister or an aunt. I guess she heard us. They both laugh and I hear their steps going downstairs.

Lillian turned on the spot and vanished. She appeared on the steps number 13 Englewood Drive, a modest two storey building that she called home for the last 10 year. A house which had special charms placed on it that if she did suddenly appear by the front door, none of her neighbours would notice. Keeping a low profile was fundamental even more so now that she had her goddaughter to protect. “Welcome to your new home, Lena”, she said to the infant as she entered the house, the door swinging shut behind her.

I heard the voice of a woman say downstairs. The front door was just below my window, so I could clearly hear everything said. "Yes, yes, that would be me. How may I help you?" He said, with a very fake friendly voice that made me feel like screaming in pain and frustration. How dare he pretend to be a good person after what he had just tried doing to me? How dare he pretend to be nice? "Well, I'm your dear late wife Jisoo's good friend. My name is Mrs Tara Lawson. May I come in?" She said, her voice cheerful.

I took her hand in mine, and we headed out. As I turned onto her parents’ street, I noticed that there didn’t seem to be parking anywhere. It seemed the entire neighborhood was having their whole family over for the holidays. Pulling in front of the house, I decided to park right at the edge of the driveway, blocking the three parked cars.

"He made the rounds with me. I also met with the neighbors around here, I should be appreciated too, Chief!" Nicholas rolled his eyes lazily. He knew that Hendrick was eager to outdo everyone. But in the end, Nicholas still praised him in a simple way. "You did a good job today too. By the way, this area is heading towards the deeper countryside. Do you know the ice cream factory and farm nearby?"

Marcus guides me to a suburban neighborhood. All the houses look remarkably similar and hold no old-world touches. A newer neighborhood, if I have to guess. I can also assume Conner makes a decent paycheck to be able to afford to live in this location. All the houses are two-story with white picket fences. Marcus texts me the address and adds, “He has a doorbell camera out front, but the back should be clear.” Looking around, it would appear that most of the neighbors are at work. Marcus gets out of his car and I do the same, walking up to him casually.

Beautiful things are lethal. I squint, peering into eyes of deep, burnished brown that seem to hold a hidden fire within. Flecks of amber dance at the edges, pushing back at the unnerving coldness in them. Thick, black lashes flutter against tanned, golden skin as his gaze narrows at the blood on my flimsy nightdress, and against my better judgement, I blurt, “It isn’t mine.” The man, whom I recognize from yesterday as my neighbor raises his brows as he helps me up to my feet. “Is he dead?”

Peace begins to make some sneaky move making me realise she's about to leave me alone with these random guys. Ah! this idiot would do anything to get some d*** inside her. she waves her stupid hands at me signifying her disappearance. Great! I mutter to myself. I suddenly begin to feel bored having no familiar face around sucks pretty much. "Hey, a guy greeted." "Hi" "I'm Andrew." "Vivian" "Nice meeting you Vee, I've heard a lot about you." "Guess you are one of Peace's friends then." "Yeah, she flaunts about you every time, saying how amazing you are."
