Fire Chronicles

Fire Chronicles

I'm losing control and I'm seconds away from breathing fire. She slaps me and the fire pushes back a bit. She's glorious in her anger and I can't touch her or I'll never let go. I glance at Mikael. "Control your woman and get her out of here." Pepper tries to run, but Mikael grabs her. Just seeing him touch her pushes smoke from my nostrils and small sparks shoot from my mouth. "Take her away," I roar as I head for my perch where I can release the flames.

Fire and Flame

Fire and Flame

There was a fire place which they made in order to keep themselves warm. All of them where seen gathered around the fire like it was a committee of witches having their meeting, planning on a mission to devour. Each of them was putting on thick article of clothing to help the body warm faster. The cold was much like it was winter. It’s a known phenomenon that areas surrounded by water are most often cool especially the cool breeze that makes one thing that he or she was about to freeze. That’s because, during the day, the sun heats hard on the ground producing heat that helps warm the rivers, then at night, the river produced immense cool breeze that helps to keep the ground cold. It exhibit

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

I Married the Devil to Kill My Own Family

I Married the Devil to Kill My Own Family

Hyena signaled. Five or six glass bottles crashed down. Cracks sounded as high - purity gasoline mixed with the dock's puddles. Then a spark landed. With a huge “boom,” a three - meter - high ring of fire shot up. The heat vaporized the rain into white mist, sealing their only escape route. The firelight lit up Alexander's face. Without hesitation, his left arm shot around Vivienne's waist. He yanked her close. In his right hand was a black Desert Eagle, in his left a seized M4A1 assault rifle. Left and right, they formed a tight defense in the inferno.

Wild Nights With My Lycan Step-brother

Wild Nights With My Lycan Step-brother

Seeing it snapped something in me. The fire came without permission. The air around me ignited, bright gold and red crashing through the night. The ground split beneath our feet. I didn’t care. All I saw was him bleeding. All I felt was that fire screaming to protect him. Zane turned toward me, his eyes burning brighter than ever. The world narrowed down to just us — flames licking at our skin, the smell of smoke and blood. And then I was in his arms, my mouth on his, our bond exploding. It wasn’t gentle or soft; it was raw, desperate, alive. The flames wrapped around us, merging, feeding on each other until it felt like the world was burning from the inside out.

Catch-22: To Die Is To Live Hard

Catch-22: To Die Is To Live Hard

she shouted, calling out Aracelli’s name. Fire. Heat. Sweat. Burning. Blaze. Fire. It was repetition. She can’t see anything except fire. It was a hell of fire. “Aracelli! Where are you?!” she screamed, even more, louder than before but as she shouts, the fire gets bigger, destroying, burning more kinds of stuff. The combustion of the wooden cabin causes the fire to spread faster despite it, being covered with the dense snow.

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

I light the fuel with my other hand. The flames catch fast and climb through the hardware, licking around the laptop’s edges, finding the drive, consuming the server. The plastic casing warps and bubbles. Internal components glow orange, slowly deforming in the flames. The laptop screen cracks from the intense heat, the glass falling inward. Above it all, the smoke climbing into the Alaskan sky carries sixty-three names, ten years of lies, and eight years of bruises into the dark where nobody will ever retrieve them. We watch it burn. Her hand in mine. The fire reflecting in her eyes.

Remi, I love your storyline and the detail that you put into it ! ! You as I've been saying have a great flair for words that bring your plots alive and I say plots because you have a unique ability to have several ongoing plots that come together, then slip away yet coming back together.

Found this on another platform and wanted to say it's so good! Characters and storyline are engaging, well-fleshed out, FLC and MLC especially, sizzle off the pages, their chemistry is off the charts. I am only up to chapter 45. So far 172 chapters, this platform has 180 (as of 6 April 2026)

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

"We're not out of the danger yet. We have to get out of here. None of us are safe anymore." I returned to the window to observe Grandpa Falkor, fueled by vengeance, take matters into his own hands. He struck a matchstick and ignited the fuel-soaked ground with a malicious smirk on his face. The flames erupted and spread like wildfire, devouring everything in their path. As their bodies were enveloped by the merciless flames, the pack members, imprisoned in their scorching inferno, cried out in agony. The pungent fragrance of burning fur and flesh filled the air.

Phoenix in the Fire

Phoenix in the Fire

Gold would do to this, Gold wouldn't do that, Gold doesn't like this, Gold likes that. They kill a part of him even before he has the chance to try it. "But just like a phoenix, I am reborn again..." He rises from the ashes. The exact same thing people burn is where he'll come back. This time, stronger and better. This time, he rejects to care about what they think will suit him. This is his life. Another symbolism of fire is judgment. "I love my fans, I really do." He didn't prepare a speech. He's just speaking things that enter his mind. It doesn't have an order.

Frequently Asked Questions

I burned through the last chapters of 'Fire' on a borrowed Kindle and that final confrontation between the protagonist and the entity within the flames felt a bit rushed, to be honest. We spend the whole book building up this complex symbiotic-parasitic relationship, and then the resolution hinges on a single memory of the protagonist's father.

It works emotionally, and I did get a bit choked up, but I remember closing the book and thinking, 'Wait, what about the embers she scattered in Chapter 15?' Maybe I'm just nitpicking because I didn't want it to end.

There isn't a direct sequel, no. The author has been clear about that in interviews—it's a standalone. But they did publish a companion novella last year called 'Ash', which follows one of the side characters a few years later. It doesn't continue the main plot, just explores the wider world. Honestly, I preferred the ambiguity of the original ending; 'Ash' felt like it explained a little too much.
