Runaway Bride to his Billionaire Rival

Runaway Bride to his Billionaire Rival

By eight, the lie had already been dressed, polished, and sent out into every inbox that mattered. Freeda saw it before she finished her first sip of coffee, the words stabbing sharper than a knife because they weren’t just wrong—they were framed to look inevitable, as if her life needed public choreography she hadn’t agreed to. Teni stepped in, carrying a folded printout, hands taut around it, as if it held live wires. “Don’t get angry at me,” she said, voice precise, measured.

My husband consoled me asking me to confide in him. "what is it that you're not telling me? You've not done this b4 have u?" he asked "Iiii... hhaaave" i replied stuttering. "yet u can't even prove it? Why are u lying? Tell me the truth Ifeoma." he said. The moment he called me with my full name I knew he was serious. I had no choice so I told him the truth. “I mean, where does she get off coming to me with such bizarre things? Of all the nonsense she uttered, that one was by far the worst.” Dexter’s gaze never once shifted from her. “So, it’s all a lie. Such a thing never happened, is that what you’re saying?” Freda sighed and sat her cup of tea on the coffee table. “Why would I lie to you about this, huh? What do I have to gain from keeping the truth from you? And why does the past matter to you so much?” She looked calm but her eyes said otherwise. He could easily tell that she was frustrated and he couldn’t believe how much of a liar this woman was.

This is a really outstanding book, very well written. However I ran across a problem that completely disheartened me. I had read up to chapter 20 and when I went back the next day to resume where I had left off it put me right back at chapter 1.I can't pay again so I gave up and I loved this story.

great love story, the name on the title doesn't quite fit. I find dex quite warm toward his gf. she's a bit confusing in her attitude but it works worth reading with exception unless the waiting 9n update becomes endless like 2 books I began and it has never been updated in weeks feel it won't. unfa

LIFE OF LIES

LIFE OF LIES

They-They all did such things but she-she didn't know about it. “ You are lying...” Sia shooked her head in denial. He was definitely lying. To get her to sign the marriage contract, he was making everything up. Her friends would never do such things. They would never do such things, ever! Sia stumbled back on her feets, as Hardin chuckled out again. “ All of them knew about everything...” Hardin whispered out to Sia harshly. “ Except you. They all knew what they all did except you. ” Hardin reached forward and grabbed her arms to pull her forward, before her knees gave out and she fell in his embrace.

His Untold Lies

His Untold Lies

"Well, well, well. Look who finally made the front page, Kianna Myst Saavedra." A sharp, familiar voice cut through the lingering noise. We turned to see Vera standing by the lecture hall doors, her arms crossed and a malicious smirk playing on her lips. "I knew exactly what I saw in that restroom last week," Vera sneered, stepping closer. "You made me look like a liar in front of the administration, but the truth always comes out. How does it feel to be famous? I guess you finally hooked your big fish." "Listen, Vera—" I began, my fist clenching, but Miaree stepped in.

Love of lies

Love of lies

She turned back and walked towards Kyle, she looked at him before looking at me, with a glare "No one will ever love you, you will never get a man as good as Kyle. You are pathetic Tara, sorry to say but no one likes a girl who keeps secrets from her boyfriend." Damn, she always gets me, I hate the fact she always gets to my head. She turned back and was about to leave when I stop her, I walked towards her and stood right in front of her, staring into her eyes "For your kind information Maria, you are the pathetic one, not me, if I remember clearly, Kyle didn’t cheat on me, actually, we were playing each other." I said before I looked at Kyle. It hurts me to lie but I have no other choice, I

When love lies

When love lies

All of which were true, even if the truth itself was a lie. When Noah graduated college, I cried harder than I had in years. He got a job in New York big lights, big stage, big world. I packed his bags and kissed his forehead. “Call me every Sunday,” I said, fighting tears. He hugged me so tightly that I almost broke and told him everything. But I didn’t. Months passed. Then one Sunday, his voice sounded different. “Mom… I met someone. Well, not like that. A man. Older. He hired me. We talk a lot.”

He Stole My Love, Heart and My Future—But I’m Taking It Back

He Stole My Love, Heart and My Future—But I’m Taking It Back

The air buzzed with excitement and the smell of coffee and sweat. But I wasn't here to be eaten alive. I was here to take back my story. "Ladies and gentlemen," I began, my voice carrying clearly across the room, "my name is Emily Reyes, and for the past eight years, I've been living a lie." The room went quiet except for the soft clicking of camera shutters. "This morning, you saw photos and stories saying that I've been stealing money from my children's charity to pay for an affair. What you didn't see was the real story that makes those claims not just false, but cruel and terrible."

Falling Through Lies

Falling Through Lies

When I finally picked up, the first thing she said was, “Honey, I’m feeling really unwell today. Can you wire me two thousand dollars? I need to get more asthma medication.” Hearing her voice, a scoff surfaced in my heart. She had no idea I had uncovered her lies. She still thought I was the same gullible fool she could push around. If I sent her the money now, she would definitely use it to refill Derek’s medication. With that thought, I replied coldly, “I’m in the hospital. I don’t have money to send you.”

The Lie that Binds

The Lie that Binds

Because every truth unraveled another, and now she stood on the edge of a decision she could never come back from: Stay loyal to the country that used her. Or stand beside the man she was sent to destroy. The man she was now hopelessly falling for. Now she knows: everything about the case had been a lie. And maybe… just maybe… she had been the biggest lie of them all.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been following Freida McFadden’s career for a while now, and while her exact age isn’t publicly disclosed, it’s clear she’s a seasoned author with a knack for gripping psychological thrillers. Her debut novel, 'The Housemaid,' took the book world by storm, and her writing style reflects a depth that comes with experience. Based on her publishing timeline and career milestones, I’d guess she’s likely in her late 30s to early 50s, but age is just a number when it comes to talent like hers.

What’s fascinating about Freida is how she blends suspense with emotional complexity, a skill that often comes with life experience. Her fans, including myself, are more focused on her brilliant storytelling than her birth year. If you’re new to her work, I highly recommend 'The Housemaid'—it’s a masterclass in tension and twists.
