New Moon Book Free Online Novels & Stories

CHAPTER TWELVE POV: ELARA The imprint did not feel the way I expected. I had braced for something romantic like a warmth, pull, you know the kind of thing novels described in italics. What it actually felt like was rewiring. Someone had taken the circuitry of my nervous system and updated it without asking. I started knowing things before they were obvious for instance like an anger in the heart disguised as a smile on the face.

Still It didn’t matter as I took a seat down at the high ridden chair and started to read. It wasn’t just a book about simple mythology. It was laced with facts and truths, about what my mate was. The secret behind the hybrid. My eyes widened with even more curiosity, my breath first caught at the ‘Rite of Shadows’—a moon ritual that was strictly forbidden. It was said, that a pregnant Luna who had laid with an Alpha and performs the forbidden dance is bound to create a monster that world plague the world—a hybrid. I couldn’t help but turn the page even further, intrigued by what I read.

The Moon Goddess, a celestial embodiment of grace and power, greeted the werewolves with a gentle smile. Alpha Jake and Luna Mara, overwhelmed by the divine aura, dropped to their knees along with the entire pack, paying homage to the deity who governed their lives. "Alpha Jake, Luna Mara," the Moon Goddess spoke, her voice a melodic cadence that resonated through the hearts of all present. "You are under my divine protection, and your union is blessed." Alpha Jake and Luna Mara exchanged glances, their hearts swelling with gratitude and joy. "Thank you, Moon Goddess," Alpha Jake spoke, his voice a mixture of humility and appreciation. "We are honored by your blessing."

Calm Before the Storm (Isabella's POV) The library smelled like old paper and cedar polish. Sunlight slanted through tall windows, catching dust motes that floated lazy in the air. I’d slipped away after the snowball fight, cheeks still pink from cold and laughter, needing quiet to sort through the mess inside my head. Shelves stretched high, packed with leather-bound books that looked older than the pack itself. I pulled one down at random, thick, dark cover stamped with a crescent moon. Ancient Mate Bonds: Stories of the Moon Goddess’s Gift and Curse. My fingers traced the title. I sank into a worn armchair, opened it, and started reading.

The New Moon Conversation The night of the new moon was completely dark, the sky overcast so that even the stars were absent, and they walked to the Moon Grounds by torchlight with Elara's hand in Darius's and Mira walking ahead, the bone stylus tucked in her pocket.

Selena nodded slightly, still trying to follow the information he dropped on her lap. "Have you never wondered if I were your mate?" Selena almost choked. "Of course I have, but… Can you be a little more clear? It's getting hard to follow." Selena said impatiently. He was saying a lot, but not being understandable. "The Moon's prophecy says that a wolf has the powers of the moon, and that it will unite with another one to bring peace to our species. Of course I'm using a little poetic license here." he laughed.

It was as if she was meant to be by his side. She did not know how to explain it better than that. But she knew that she was not here for anything else than begging the guy for mercy. “Thank you all for being here tonight. The moon festival is a time for joy and celebration. It’s a time to give thanks and adoration to the Moon goddess. It is a time for those who don’t have mates to find their partners. It is a time for the light of the moon to wash us clean from our sins and make us new again. Tonight, we celebrate! Tonight, we become one as a pack! Tonight, we live!” He exclaimed, and everyone cheered at the top of their lungs.

Hello everyone I really appreciate all you guys' support!!! Hope you are enjoying the book just like I am. I'm thrilled to see that you love the story, and I really put my heart into the characters. I'm publishing three free chapters today, as my gratitude. Hope you will like them! I'm currently drafting for the next climax -- the bloody new moon night. But I thought I could give Taran and Willa a little bit of a "honeymoon" time before fate happens again. They would be spending a lot of fun time in bed (or somewhere else). Enjoy! Nyx Rai

“You were the Alpha of the Shadow Fang pack. You led us... until the night you died.” She took a step back. “Okay. This is crazy. I’m not this ‘Ariya.’ I’m Aria Moon. I’m a senior. I have a normal life.” “You had a normal life,” Kael said. “Until the blood moon returned. Until your body started to remember.” Her legs shook. He kept going. “You’re not human, Aria. Not completely. You’re Moonborn. A bloodline thought to be extinct. That crescent on your wrist? It’s not a birthmark. It’s a mark of inheritance.”

I'd better make them count where I could. "Well, my first question would be, should I go back to the castle?" "A question for the present that's directed at you, most patient mother." "Yes," a voice boomed from somewhere inside my chest, echoing around my head like an errant thought. The Moon Goddess's voice was like a babbling brook, a soothing current of a deep mezzo-soprano that made my muscles relax. "Go to your lover, for war comes for him. The seat of the Moon lies in the fall of the Eclipse. A new moon is the dark beginning, for all that is new must first be born of darkness."
