My sister isn’t afraid of her and she knows that our bloodline is clearly strong enough to equal the leaders if I was the Goddess-chosen future Luna. With that thought, I smile and step out of the front door. My first stop will be the elementary school, my favorite place.

It had the sign of the moon on it too. "This, is the sword of Artemis, it will be your cloud in the day and fire in the night. It will be your guild. Accept this gift from the goddess of the moon." Myra bowed placing the sword in her hands. Kendrick hesitated taking it at first, but changed his mind as his took it carefully from her hands. He held it in his hands and the moon symbol on the handle of the sword glowed brightly, and so did the moon on Myra's forehead.

Mountain's feature softened and he was about to say something to Joseph when the girl shouted, "Incoming!" Mountain was fast. Extremely fast for a large person. He came at Joseph like a blur and tackled him to the ground. A jumbled vision of foliage and trees and bushes, before he felt himself slammed against the ground. Joseph felt the wind knocked out of him as he heard the whistle followed by the loudest sound he's ever heard in all his 16 years under the Tau Ceti sun.

Ty was abruptly stopped as the door swung open. Everyone’s eyes faced the doorway as Azura’s silhouette stood outlined by the moonlight. “No, my Alpha,” her voice trailed into the room so serenely. “It is I that stands before the room. I, your future Luna, will not stay quiet and kept any longer,” Azura says as she takes a few steps closer to her mate, placing a hand on his shoulder and gazes over the room, stopping briefly on the man who had dared to mention her name. “I know you are worried and you have reason to be. First the pack is threaten by an evil man, now we are subject to someone’s spiteful vengeance, but do not forget, that it is the Moon Goddess who has bestowed upon me her

Whiskey. I searched the village before it got too dark. It was only a small one. I'd say home to maybe less than sixty. Well, was home to them, not anymore. I did manage to find the pack library after a bit of ransacking. It was quite small, but the books and scrolls were very old, the oldest one dating back six hundred years. It was a journal kept by an Alpha at the time. He had decent handwriting, though my old Russian was a little rusty, so a lot of the text was a mystery to me. The yellowing pages were filled with pictures and diagrams and detailed notes. One word stood out among the rest. Boginya. Goddess. I read through the journal a bit more, until I was fully satisfied. TUESDAY Dawn slept like a baby. She breathed out softly and the sound of her gentle sighs made me know that sleep brought calm and peace to her. The moonlight was shining bright today. She had her head and a hand on my chest. She insisted that I slept by her and I agreed as long as fulfilling her wish would make her happy.

Luna, in turn, regaled them with cosmic anecdotes, weaving a tapestry of celestial wonders that captivated the Blackmoon audience. As the night deepened, the moon cast its silvery glow over the Blackmoon landscape. Luna, surrounded by the warmth of newfound friends, felt a sense of cosmic kinship that transcended the boundaries of realms. The Blackmoon enclave, once veiled in shadows, now stood as a testament to the transformative power of celestial intervention.

"Keep a low profile. It really has taken it out of me to keep the Moon from noticing your absence. It would really do me well if you kept to yourself." Damon speaks as he pulls something out of the breast of his jacket. It's a book, bound beautifully, covered in swirls of silvery patterns. When he extends it to me, I notice what it is. It's the Moon Goddess book. I've been desperate to get this off Shinee and Damon for some time now. Each time it's been right in my hands and then torn away, so to finally hold it against my fingertips is a blessing. Perhaps Damon is giving this to me on behalf of Shinee, who drugged me with a truth serum, which in return, I would receive the book for.

Lisa announced, in an effort to ease the atmosphere in the room. “New moon festival? What is that about?” Evelyn asked. “You don't know about the new moon festival?” Lisa exclaimed. “I don't,” Evelyn said, shaking her head. “Oh my goodness, you don't celebrate that in your pack?” Lisa asked. “No,” Evelyn shrugged. “The new moon is the beginning of a new Lunar phase and that day we celebrate the moon goddess for her blessings and protections. It is usually a very big festival, lots of food and drinks and fun activities,” Lisa explained.

“No, please, I beg you to believe me, Alpha Kaidën” **Two Weeks Earlier** “To the Honorable Members of the Mystic Pack, It is with great pleasure and reverence that we announce a momentous occasion in the history of our esteemed pack. Our revered Luna, Xylara, has been blessed with the miracle of life. She is expecting a child, an heir to the Mystic Pack's legacy.” I could hear the applause of the people too well and clearly. But instead of making me happy… It made me nauseous and disgusted. I lowered my gaze from the overly happy couple and made my way out of the crowd towards the forest. I just wanted to escape from this torturous situation.
