The Billionaire's First Glance

The Billionaire's First Glance

Morgan said, puzzled. We quickly filled her in. Morgan seemed excited to be on another detective case. “I did catch one thing I found extremely puzzling,” Madison revealed. “My dad said, ‘Don’t worry, Madison will never figure it out. She’ll never know about him.’ My dad is definitely hiding something with this mystery woman.” “Obviously,” Morgan declared. “The big question is who is the woman and what’s the big secret?” “That Morgan is the million-dollar question,” I expressed.

Married by Fate, Broken by Love

Every time we closed the distance, somebody stayed one step ahead. Then another detail caught my attention. I reread the report carefully. Twice. A third time. And suddenly I noticed something strange. The message ordering the transfer wasn't sent from Richard. Or Lydia. Or Victor. It came from an account identified only by a single initial. "M." Nothing else. No name. No identifier. Just one letter. I looked up immediately. "Who's M?" Morris shook his head. "We don't know." The answer unsettled me more than I expected.

The licensed murderer

This is a lot to take in not to talk of the monster killing people all over. "Hey babe why are you still awake?" Adrain said walking into my room "I'm not sleepy " I replied "Hey what's on your mind I knocked but I dont think you even noticed " he said sitting with me on the bed. "It's Nessa she just found out her mum is not dead " I replied finally "Ohhh wow …. but what about the murderer has he been caught?" He asked " no and I'm worried about Nessa that place isn't safe for her " " she'll be fine have faith " he said giving me a hug

My Mysterious Husband

My Mysterious Husband

“Make my people disappear? After all these years, have I lost my touch, or has the industry grown so unfamiliar that I don’t recognize it anymore?” Reina turned in fear and cast a furious glance at the woman who had followed her in. She had asked the woman to close the door earlier, and now the woman was looking guilty, having indeed shut the door after entering. Emma and Penny were inside the room, and without a room card, no one could enter. Unless the newcomer had a key card. The woman, Edwina Cohen, looked at the newcomer with a strange expression. Edwina’s entire body stiffened, and the color drained from her face.

Stranger Than Murder

Stranger Than Murder

Chloe was running late as she locked up her house and walked down her sidewalk to the drive where her car, an old Malibu was patiently waiting. Her phone began to ring, interrupting her. She paused to fish it out and saw a mysterious number on the screen. It was a number she didn't recognize, which wasn't saying too much as she really only knew two numbers by heart. She normally had no problem answering such calls since they were most likely a business call of some sort and fairly painless. Lately, however, she'd been getting strange calls from mysterious numbers, she would answer and hear nothing on the other end for about a couple of minutes before the call went dead. The strange phone cal

The Billionaire's Hidden Mystery

DANTE I knew the new content writer, Acadia, was built differently from the first time I saw her. However, she surpassed expectations in just a short time. Her face looked familiar though, like I had seen her somewhere before. When we collided in the corridor the other day, I felt a strange pull towards her. Her blue ocean-like eyes were mesmerising, I couldn't look away. It was strange and so I did what I thought was right. I walked away without saying a word. Didn’t want to give her any wrong ideas. Shutting my office door, I felt strangely hot even though the air conditioning was on. What was happening to me? I never fell sick, my dietician made sure of it.

My New Neighbour

My New Neighbour

I felt my body collapsing on top of something soft before everything around me fell into pitch darkness. A few weeks later: The mysterious man wearing a black hoodie with his face half covered, punched the boot of his car when he saw Max kissing Shelly lightly on the lips from afar. "I'll be back..." he sneered through clenched teeth and with one last look at the couple, he retreated inside his car, pressing on the accelerator and drove out of there, out of the town and out of Max's and Shelly's lives but he will be back to avenge himself because this isn't the end...

Will there be a second book? I noticed the author doesn’t comment on anything so I’m gonna guess and say no that the readers don’t seem to matter with zero interaction from the author.. good book though.

I so enjoyed reading this and am so excited to start the second one. This novel was very well written and kept me interested. I like happy endings and the threat of revenge still is something to be aware of. The writer of this story is very talented

Unbeknownst

Unbeknownst

I woke slowly, the way people do when they are not entirely certain where they are. For a few seconds my mind drifted through the comfortable confusion of unfamiliar surroundings, reaching for context and finding only pieces of it. The ceiling above me was not the one I usually woke to. The light was wrong, coming from the wrong angle, falling across the room in long pale strips rather than the familiar grey wash of my own bedroom window. The air smelled of vanilla and clean linen and something faintly woody, like a fire that had burned down hours ago and left only its warmth behind.
