"Jackson, what the heck are you wearing?" Kaitlyn tried hard not to laugh as she spotted Jackson standing in the corner of the living room, holding a giant, bright green plate piled high with vibrant cookies. The way he was serving the treats was cute, but his outfit? He was wearing the most ridiculous, holiday sweater she had ever seen. It was knitted, and lit up with small LED lights that made him look like one of the room's decorations. But the best part, the hideous thing featured several pictures of gifts with the coy message splayed proudly in the middle: 'Can I be your gift tonight?'

I may have to thanked him later. I grab one of the bags and opened it, enthusiastically like how I used to open a gift. It was a fuzyy white sweater with a cowl neck which is hand knitted to perfection. I tore the price tag off and pull it over my head, since it's so thick I don't think I needed to wear a bra on. I paired it with a skin tight black leggings and flat leather ankle high boots for my feet. I ran the hair dryer through my hair for a couple of minutes and then pat a very light lip gloss on my soft lips.

I shook my head, looking away from the sweater. “Well, that’s good to hear. It’s a gorgeous sweater. You should get it.” Yūri insisted, plucking the sweater from the rack. “The gray will make those red locks pop. And you’ve got the shoulders to pull it off.” She nodded, pushing the gray off-shoulder, button side, white zig-zag geometric sweater into my arms. “Um… thanks, Mrs. Konishi.” I frowned. I like the top. It would look good on me. Hell, depending on what Collin has planned, I could wear it tonight. But that thought just made me frown.

Jackson stepped forward first, holding a neatly wrapped box. “This one is from me.” She said with a warm smile, handing the package to Alexia. Alexia unwrapped it carefully, peeling back the delicate paper to reveal a beautifully hand-knitted sweater. It was deep blue with tiny stars along the sleeves. Alex’s was the same, but in forest green. “Oh wow.” Alexia breathed, running her fingers over the fabric. “Did you make this?” Mrs. Jackson nodded proudly. “I did. Thought you two could use something cozy for the winter.”

This had to be Yuyu Roman. I grabbed the tacky sweater I'd bought a couple of days earlier—a red and green monstrosity with a giant, flashing reindeer nose in the middle—and yanked it over my head. Ugly fashion was sometimes good fashion, I justified. At least that's what I kept telling myself as I yanked on a pair of black pants that had fewer stitches than holes.

"And still not dead. I really like this sweater. What is this material? Angora? Why the hell do you have an angora sweater stuffed in the back of your closet?" Plugging my flat iron in, I watch him finger the material. He's really enjoying this way too much. "It's not really my style.
