The flickering flame cast eerie shadows on the walls as they proceeded down another row of stairs. Finally, they reached the bottom, and Kimberly's heart stopped. She saw them, her eyes welling up with tears. Levi was suspended from the ceiling, his body battered and bruised. Nicholas was chained to the wall, his eyes fixed on Kimberly with a mixture of relief and warning. Kimberly's heart swelled with emotion as she rushed towards them.
