I gushed a little too excitedly. I don’t understand how they’ve brainwashed you all in that damn cult.” Nelson looked at me as if he were seeing me for the first time, as if he were sizing me up. “I’ll do whatever it takes to make Giselle happy,” Nelson said. I shook my head and looked at him with pity. “If that’s what you want to believe to accept that everything is shit, go ahead—I’m not going to keep judging you,” I said, looking at him seriously. “You killed a member of my pack and tried to take out a damned one. My sentence is clear and final.”

Mr. Nelson looked irritated again. Every time he thought about Amada, his stomach got angry. With Mr. Nelson's consent, Ms. Luna was allowed to work again. Taking advantage of the situation that Mr. Nelson is having to think about many problems, Ms. Luna has made herself an important person.
