As the creature lunged forward, Darell's instincts took over. He felt the familiar surge of power as his body began to shift and twist, his bones cracking and reforming into a new shape. In moments, he had transformed into a massive, fearsome werewolf himself. Marcelyn wasn't far behind. She had always been able to sense danger, and as soon as the werewolf appeared, she knew what she had to do. She closed her eyes, focusing her mind and her will, and felt the familiar surge of energy coursing through her veins.
