If you are looking for ways to come out while I go unconscious, it won't happen." Raven groaned. "There is one thing I learned about werewolf stuff on the internet. You can change if I am unconscious. The only time you can change on your own is during the full moon. You still have a long way to go, Raven, and since I found out about this, I'm not going to pass out or get high."

Her body twisted unnaturally as her bones reshaped and shifted to form a lycanthrope-humanoid skeleton, causing her immense pain. "Ahhhh!" she groaned in pain. Dave stood still, stunned, as he watched her transform into a fierce beast. She grew excessive body hair, huge yellow-glowing eyes, and fangs. Within minutes, the werewolf that had been hidden within her emerged, hulking and wolf-like. "My lady?" Dave called out, realizing too late that he had forgotten to tell her that werewolves remain in their werewolf phase from dusk till dawn. Upon completion, the werewolf loses its human mind and fully transforms into its wolf form.

"Prove to us that you are deserving of a place in our pack." A rush of excitement surges through my veins as I accept his challenge. With a determined glint in my eyes, I step back and close my eyes, allowing the energy of the full moon to wash over me. The familiar tingling sensation spreads throughout every fiber of my being, causing my body to shudder involuntarily. When I open my eyes again, they glow with an otherworldly light. My nails elongate into sharp claws, and fur begins to sprout from every inch of my skin. The transformation is complete; I stand before them as a majestic werewolf.

“You’re… beautiful.” The wolf’s ears twitched, a playful gleam in her eyes. “So are you. And together, we’ll be unstoppable.” The two stared at each other for a long moment, a bond of unity forming like a lock clicking into place. Zoe felt the wolf’s strength merge with her own, their hearts beating in perfect rhythm. “Are you ready?” the wolf asked. Zoe took a deep breath, her nerves melting away. “I’m ready.” The pain returned, but it was no longer terrifying. It was transformative. Zoe’s body reshaped itself, bones shifting, muscles rippling, her senses sharpening as she let the wolf take over. When the change was complete, the crowd gasped.

As a hybrid, changing into a werewolf, especially if it has been a while, is one of the most painful things as that is not my true nature, and it also goes against my vampire part. My breathing became shallow as my body started to stretch, skin tearing up, blood oozing out from everywhere and the sound of bones cracking and breaking became the only sound in the forest along with the wince that escaped from my lips as I fought to bear all the pain without relief. I whisper again and again, trembling. All of a sudden, something shifts. A cracking sound. Disgusting. Bones pop. Skin stretches. A wet, slippery sound of something unnatural unraveling. My stomach turns in disgust. I want to look away, but I can’t. My vision spell bound. I watch in paralyzed horror as the werewolf begins to change. The limbs retract. The snout folds inward. Fur falls off. Muscles twist and reform. Blood and mucus slide off the shifting form. I gag.

Before I could think, my body started to change. Heat surged through me, burning under my skin. White fur sprouted over my arms, my fingers stretched into claws, fangs pushed out of my gums, and my bones snapped, reshaping. I gasped, dropping to my knees as the shift took over. When it stopped, I stood taller, stronger, a white werewolf, my fur glowing under the moonlight. The rogues stopped dead, eyes wide. “I thought white werewolves were extinct,” one stammered, stepping back.

The fate of Connor, Simon, Jenny, and I, was all in our hands. The battle standing right before me made me nervous. I had only transformed once, and Su had assisted me in changing back. The Lykos to Human hurt less than the other way around but what Su had taught me was that it would never hurt the same as the first time again. Now, with the help of my blood and the healing cream, the scars from the gashes are only barely visible and you have to know they are there and be looking for them to see them. I was also using this time and my blood to get her body ready to accept the change. The change is hard and painful on the body. Having my powerful royal blood running through her system and my touch throughout should reduce the pain and make the change from human to werewolf much smoother.

The moon hung full and round in the sky emitting a brilliant silver glow across the earth bathed in a subdued darkness, the sky was a fairly clear with little loud cover, the air cool and refreshing.
