Nico Di Angelo Will Solace Novels & Stories

I appreciated, calming my own self down. I swear to God, in all these years of my life, I've never been this nervous. But it was all Angel's doing. Eversince Angel came into my life, my heart has developed this unusual habit of beating fast, uncontrollably fast. I feel like I'm surrounding by certain feelings that I'm unable to shake off me. Everytime Angel is near me, I feel calm; at peace. She my solace. The solution to all my problems. The shine in her beautiful glassy blue eyes always seem to draw me in like whirlpool of emotions that flows in her. Her captivating innocence make me possessive about. It attracts me; the more I stare at her, the more I fall.

I couldn’t find the words. Nico looked at me, something painful in his eyes. “I should go. You’re right, this isn’t the time.” He moved toward the door, paused. “I’m glad you’re alive, Enzo. Despite everything, I’m glad.” “Nico, wait—” But he was gone, the door closing behind him, leaving me and Enzo alone again. I turned back to Enzo, angry now. “That was cruel. He was trying to apologize—”

The rest of the words got stuck in her throat when she looked up to see the same man from the previous night who was trying to protect his girlfriend from her. He had a devilish smirk on his cold face. “ You said what?” His dangerous imposing aura almost got her sinking into the ground. He was an epitome of dangerous temptation. “ It's you.” Nicki rolled her eyes after she was able to snap out of her reverie. “ Is it him?” Another guy showed up from behind, his brows tightening in anger. “ Let her be, Collins.” “ What did he do to me?” Nicki scoffed, folding her arms under her breast.

She replied quickly. “Where is it? I will get it for you.” She pointed to the mirror and Gabriel opened it quickly grabbing an empty pill bottle. “Shit.” She cursed, holding her head then her mouth. “I’m sorry.” She remembered she was in the presence of an Angel. Gabriel reached for her hand to move it from her face, but she yanked away not wanting him to touch her.

He extended his other hand and wiped the tears off the angel's face. He took a step ahead, crossing the transparent obstruction to the crying older without another thought. He was able to put his arms around the older as the other cried into his shoulder, clutching onto his shirt. Emotions all over the place, not realizing that he went through the curse without any damage to embrace someone's scars.

A storm brewed behind them, raw and unreadable, making me want to reach out, to tell him it was okay to let go. “You’re wrong,” he bit out. His voice was lower now, edged with something dangerously close to anger. “If you think you can save me… you can’t, Gianna. You’ll only destroy yourself trying.” “You don’t need saving, Nico,” I whispered. “You’re not damaged.” His entire body tensed.

Only two people were inside. Intimate. Murmuring to each other. And one bartender, wiping some wine glasses. Angel walked straight to the bar. Sat on the tall high chair. His fingers started to tap against the counter. His heartbeat was way too fast. ‘I need a drink to calm down,’ he decided. Even though his stomach was tight and coiled like a fist. “Un amaro, per favore (Something bitter, please),” he said to the bartender, voice low. Something tough.

Pearl’s pov~ I saw him finally reach for the phone, and the video ended. It was like I was in a trance of some sort after that; soon after, Angelo came in, distracting my thoughts. I was both a priest and a sinner, and I gazed at the screen as though it were a confession booth. Nico's raw, gruff, and remorseful voice blasted through the speakers. Not the smirking, smooth-talking businessman that unnerved everyone. This man was losing his mind.

He glanced at her, but he returned his attention on the road. "Of course, yes. Who wouldn't be happy? Aren't you happy, huh? We found someone who can help us, Casey. We're having a solution to the problem we had. You're right in the first place, Casey. Sir Antonio can possibly help us. I became angry towards you, but I didn't know what's going on your mind. I'm sorry for it. I was wrong and I want to apologize again to you," Niccolo said, seriously. He answered her while he's not looking at her eyes. He focused his eyes on the road.
