He is ba-ck and he murde-dered Amber.", I said in a shaky voice.

Charlotte smoothed down her dress by sliding her palms on the sides even though it really didn’t need any smoothening. She was nervous as hell. Her eyes closed. Tabitha jerked up in bed. She could feel her body was soaked with sweat. What kind of dream was that? She looked over at Mark who was still asleep. I took it and heard sniffing coming from the kids’ side. We turned to Dash’s bed and saw him rolling around his bed while squeezing his bedcovers, as if in a bad dream. It didn’t take him time before he woke up. His eyes were narrow and weary until he saw the food.

They laughed and walked away to go talk. Saphira walked to a table with drinks on it, took one, then turned to walk away when a scent hit her so hard, she stiffened and tried to find the source. She looked around but couldn't find anyone. She finally chalked it up to her imagination and turned to walk away but ran straight into a wall. When she looked up, she realized it wasn't a wall, but the most incredible man she had ever seen. He reached to touch her face, and she leaned into his touch. The sparks were enough to make her forget her manners completely until she heard the deepest voice she had ever heard, "My beautiful mate. Might I know your name and where you are from?"
