One night, I found myself waiting for the needle. A week later, I didn’t even protest. I just turned my head and closed my eyes. And then the dreams started. Terrifying. Surreal. Filled with colors I couldn’t name, sounds I couldn’t understand. I saw my baby crying in a pool of blood. I saw Morgana laughing with my husband, both of them raising a glass. “You ruined her, Max,” she’d say in the vision, licking her lips. “But I finished the job.” I woke up screaming.

“The first one is that she’s going to kill more than one person this time. And the second is that, those she’s going to kill are somehow related to her nightmares” “How?” “Think about it, Fang. She said none who hurt the goddess’ children is going to live right? And what has been the main theme of her nightmares since they began?” I ask him. Roisin The days dragged by, each one more nerve-wracking than the last. It had been several days since I gave Visaris the letter, and still nothing. No updates. No reassurance that he had found the culprit. The nightmares had only gotten worse. They weren’t just about Azmariah anymore; now they were about me. Minerva's POV The visions came at night when the cover had been drawn, tearing at me in its stormy twists and turns. Ghysem’s flames were rising before my eyes, I saw a real fire of hell flaming and destroying everything. My daughter looked terrified as she screamed, her shout was piercing in the dark as if she belonged to the depths of hell. It was burned into my mind like a branding iron of terror as if a hot knife had cut a scar which each beat of my heart brought back.

Still, I barely even paused before I turned to the Nightmare eyes, not even bothering to close my eyes as I surrounded them with my illusions. They would turn pure black when I used my abilities, so I closed my eyes so as not to scare anyone. I didn’t care about scaring whoever was watching us with those damned eyes. Actually, I can think of a lot worse things that I want to do to them. Instead, I watched as the Nightmare Eyes got overwhelmed by my illusions and smashed into each other. I didn’t bother to turn around the face the four of them, knowing I wouldn’t actually be able to leave once I saw Aiden.

When she awoke in her room with everyone surrounding her, her eyes blazed violet and lilac. She was beyond pissed! It was time to set things right, she would not relive her past lives.

OLIVIA'S POV NIGHTMARES- Those far-off melancholic dreams one have filled with darkness and so many other sinister things one couldn't dare mention. It had been recurring off late, these same dreams and far-off vision like flickering of the mind.
