Miranda walked in, a grin on her lips. “Good morning, my lady.” She bowed.
“Yes, Miranda,” Onora replied. This was the first time she called her name, so Miranda smiled.
Onora’s gaze was on the open window; she didn’t spare Miranda a glance.
“Do you know how to walk in heels?” Miranda asked.
Onora knitted her brows at the question. She had never walked in heels since her parents died. Damel only bought slippers for her once a year, so even if they cut, she’d fix them or walk barefoot since she had no choice.
