Scarlet Lunar Chronicles Novels & Stories

He wobbled unsteadily but forced himself forward until he stood before me. "Are you…" His voice shook, tiny fists clutching his torn shirt. "Are you the Luna?" Although Lucien stood behind me, ready to catch me if I fell, I stood tall and bent my knees slightly to meet his eyes. "Yes," I said softly, offering a gentle smile. "I'm Scarlett, the Luna of the Nightshade Pack. What brings you all the way here to see me?" Tears welled up in his eyes and then overflowed as he flung himself into my arms. The sudden movement sent a pang through my sore body, but I held him tightly, cradling his small frame, while Lucien supported my back as if to prevent me from falling.

" I saw her eyes Alpha, and it reminds me of our former Luna, don't you think it's a sign that the moon goddess granted you a second mate" " Selene just wants to remind me about Scarlet anytime I look at Riley". It was true about her eyes, and it hurt me deeply anytime I stared at them. Scarlet eyes were unusual and it made her special, she was my ray of sunshine and her white hair always shone like the moon. " I think Selene wants you to feel connected to Scarlet," Cyrus stated. " Do you feel the same connection with Riley?" I asked Cyrus didn't answer. " You don't….."

Scarlet elaborated. "So, Scarlet, why haven't you shown up all this time? Where were you when I needed you the most?" Astrid inquired. "I was always with you, Astrid, even though Lycans only appear after the age of five in human life. I was there, but there was something stopping me from coming out," Scarlet sighed. "What was it, Scarlet?" Astrid asked desperately. "Every day, you were given a dose of something that kept me restricted from showing up."

One day she decided to go on earth to take a look of what does it look like , and though Selene didn't want her babygirl to leave her , she knew that it was Scarlet’s destiny to go through it and that too without her support and so she allowed her to go . After a year of roaming around aimlessly all around the world Scarlet reached Rome . As soon as she entered the place she felt as if a string tied to her heart was pulling her to a specific direction. She trusted her gut feelings and followed it where ever it took her . Soon she bumped into a chest and felt two arms circle themselves around her and sparks were felt between the two and soon they were joined by two more males. The pull and th

Scarlet picked up a scrap piece of cloth that Mitch had given her and she tightly wrapped it around my hand. “Scarlet, today marks a new beginning for you. Your current journey has come to an end and a new journey begins. Today marks the day that you are willing to accept your new position as Luna to the Midnight Moon Pack. Not only do you accept Jaxson as your mate and as your Alpha, you accept his pack as your own. Their struggles are your struggles, their pain is your pain and their victories are your victories. Please allow your blood to spill into the chalice, accepting this fate.” Councilman Mitch yelled out.

Just like the prophecy had announced the day I was cursed. Scarlet is more of a blessing than a mate. But she seems so hurt and pained by what her mate had done to her. How was I supposed to convince her to be my Luna when she had raised these walls around her? Just as I saw her amongst the pack members, her blue doe eyes never leaving mine, almost caused me to trip over my feet while addressing the pack members. “The Moon goddess has finally smiled on us after many years.” I addressed them and stretched my hand towards Scarlet.

She wished that it would come through with her son but the question was how, when she had refused to return back to the pack and knew that her son would be there before he turned sixteen when he would get alpha wolf. Liam has asked her to be his Luna or he would pick Willow, she was not sure if he was being for real but she would rather she did not find out. She was not going to be anyone's Luna and that was it. Scarlett lifted her head with eyes closed as she sniffed the air. The moon had fully risen and was shining so brightly in the sky. Its light filtered into the room she was in, bathing her in its warm glow. She could feel something hot surging inside her and fighting to break through

“Are you done? I’m going to sleep.” “I mean it, Scarlet.” He kissed me on the lips. “Other than me, I don’t know who can take care of you and healing your wounds. Let me be your lover, Scarlet.” “Whatever, I’m not listening.” I closed my ears with my hands and turned towards the wall to go to sleep. This Sin had to be out of his mind, I thought. With my tiredness, I soon drifted into slumberland. However, the slumberland I saw was not one of those pastel-coloured dreams filled with clouds. It was dark and lava was oozing over the black earth. Above me, bats circled the black, empty sky.

I asked the question that has been bothering my mind because ever since our meeting she doesn't cease to amuse me with her crazy words "I am the gamma of this pack and the number three in command… you are only still our Alpha's mate. You can only be our Luna when the matching ceremony has been done… so currently, one mistake from you will regret it." With this, she left as the warriors also marched along with her. What is the name of hell have I gotten myself into? I asked no one in particular. LUCAS Scarlett escaping from her pack was the last thing I expected her to do, she was a Luna that loved and cherished her pack so much.

"Biting someone not only makes them Lupine, it also helps heal their wounds. It's like a second Rebirth, but I just hope it would be enough. Now it's just left to how much blood she lost and if she'll be able to recover—" I was already speeding back to the fight, the red glint in my eyes burning and a sword held tightly in my left arm. I needed to end this. As I sped through the onslaught, I slashed at any unmarked wolf that got in my way. I saw Alzaraq, he was still in wolf form but was bleeding all over. Hardaj got closer to him and lunged for his throat.
