Blinking a few times, I see the front of the packhouse and Reed is standing at the front. “I have vacaded the packhouse for the day. Let you get some quiet and alone time before people start banging down your door. I will try to hold off Kelly but she is force.” Reed said shaking his head. He had a slight smile on his face though. “And, Nina?” I looked up at him, “Thank you for what you did. I will talk to you about it tomorrow but it paid off.” My eyes grew and were as big as saucers. “REALLY?” I squealed.

The female doctor said in delight and hugged her. "Natalie, I am here to ask you for a favor." Julie said dropping Amanda on couch. Natalie looked at Amanda and frowned. "What happened to her? Did someone attacked her?" Natalie asked looking at her torn clothes "Nathalie five men raped my daughter before my eyes and I was helpless. I can't save her." Julie broke into tears. Natalie gasped and looked at Amanda with pity. She was unable to speak anything. She only hugged Julie and comfort her.

Chapter 24 Busy Bee ANDREA’S HOME, NEW YORK. Andrea hissed for the umpteenth time as she reloaded her feed, hoping something of interest would pop up. Nina seemed determined to hide away from her. She was surprised that Nina no longer worked at the grocery store. It made her feel good that Nina might be scared of what she would do. Even though it is inevitable that Asher would rather be with her than Nina, it doesn’t stop her from being paranoid.

That lands harder than anything I have said because she is not a page, not a file. She is a woman standing in front of the people who turned her first three years into controlled language and pretending it was procedure. The board screens shift again. One man removes his glasses. The woman in the center says, “Who is she?” Nadia’s voice does not shake. “The child Vincent Reed tried to make disappear.” Silence, not complete, but close enough to taste. Vincent says, “This is emotional theater." I turn to him. “No. This is your paperwork growing a spine.”

She trusts that he does. He leans forward, elbows on his knees, his gaze never leaving hers. “Reed has a daughter. Adopted. Her name is Katrina. Twenty-one. A freshman in college. Photography, painting… She’s vocal in her support for the LGBTQ community. From the few records Brandon dug up, Reed kept her hidden, but he loves her. They meet three times a year at his hometown house. She often visits his college friend, Winona Miller. Single, with a daughter of her own — Harmony, nineteen.”

She felt relieved when she closed the doors and went back to her seat. Like any other assassin, she had done her research. She was iconic in the fashion industry and had her own fashion line and was an investor in many popular cloth and shoe brands. She was rich, famous and was head over heels for Levi Wushi. However, even though she had everything she could ever want, she couldn't get any love or affection from Mr. Wushi.

Nina's confidence seemed to waver for a moment; she stayed silent, probably trying to rehearse another impressive speech that would blow my mind. Watching her bright smile slowly falter, I immediately knew this was the moment I had been waiting for. I chuckled, patiently waiting for her to reveal whatever she had up her sleeve. But instead, Nadia quickly regained her composure. “Well, Mr. Draco, as I mentioned earlier, I have a strong educational background in photography and video production,” she said with determination. “I’ve had several opportunities to work with renowned professional artists during my time at Yale, which has helped shape my perspective and unique style.”
