Married to my Enemy: A Billionaire's Hidden Love

Married to my Enemy: A Billionaire's Hidden Love

They moved in silence. The deeper they went, the colder the air became, full of copper and mold. Asher stopped short. "Did you hear something?" A whisper. Far away. Mechanical. "Cameras," Damien growled. "They know we're here." He pulled a jammer from his backpack, turned it on. The lights flashed once—then went dark. --- Facility Delta-9 did not show on any map. It should not have existed. But when they reached the sublevel designated 'E6-C,' there was a secured door waiting. Scanner pad. Retina lock.

Nine Times Too Late

"If I discover you had even more to do with Leticia's disappearance than I suspect, I will come kill you myself." Then I slammed the heavy oak door. The sound echoed like a guillotine.

The First Heir

The First Heir

Dorian said. Philip gazed at Fulton who stood at the side with his hands folded. Fulton looked at the phoenix feather jade pendant in Philip's hand and explained, “Young Master, it’s not the time to tell you about the doors and the keys yet. I can only tell you some basic concepts. So far, there are four doors to be found. The one in our territory is guarded by the Nonagon. The ones in Country M and Country Y are guarded by the 12 Sacred Halls of the West. The last one is not at my liberty to disclose.” “What are these doors?”

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w

After Ninety-nine Times

After Ninety-nine Times

“About the transfer to Seaview… I’d like to expedite it. Yes, I’m ready to go this week. I’ll start preparing everything right away.” After hanging up, I looked one last time at the framed photo of Annie and me on my desk before flipping it over. I had forgiven her ninety-nine times. This time—the hundredth time—I was finally choosing to let myself go.

The Secret Door

The Secret Door

It disappeared and the gates open. “She, does he means Ana or the girl in black?” Van thought. Van and Cara are the first to enter the gates. Kirsten and the rest hesitated, yet no one wants to be left out here with the metal face so they follow with their eyes closed. Van and the rest then emerge into a vast chamber or a void perhaps for there is no floors, walls or ceilings here. There are only doors here, lots and lots of doors floating around like hooded ghosts. Van approaches the nearest one. The door must be more than eight feet tall for it towers above Van’s head. Carved around the decorated knocker is an inscription:

Submitting To The Devil - The Devil's Snare - Book Two

Submitting To The Devil - The Devil's Snare - Book Two

Niko As I survey the room, I notice three distinct doors, each providing access in and out of this space. The first door, positioned at the back, swings open to reveal a cramped area filled with storage cupboards. Among the clutter, I spot an elderly woman nestled among the shadows, her presence almost hidden. She exudes an air of gentle vulnerability, with silver strands framing her soft, weathered face. Though her age marks her features, she radiates a sense of inherent harmlessness, as if shaped by years of quiet resilience.

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raziel (Book 1)

Long, leaf covered vines strung the expanse of at least two thirds of the entire building. A large wooden sign that read ‘TwentyOne’ in large Old English lettering that was burned into the wood, hung off a set of chains that were centered across the top peak above the door. The door itself looked to be oak, and it was completely solid. There was a large iron knocker in the center of the door that looked like a Griffin.

I could feel his frustration and curiosity from the other side of the room. Hmm, my fingers rubbed my lips in thought. “There was a third person in here, no doubt. Nothing was taken?” Then my eyes fell on the door of the inner vault; a room that was fortified by steel walls and a steel door. The only way to get in was to enter a nine-digit code for the door to open and less than five people had that code.

This is a wonderful story. This book could stand alone, but if you read all the books in this series, this book will open a beautiful world. Once you start to read you have trouble putting it down. Highly recommend as well as all the other books in the Delta’s Daughter Series.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
