BIG KAI "Lil Kai should have died in that dumpster but your white bitch had to meddle." My heart tightened as anger filled me. The dizziness added, making me beyond frustrated. I closed my eyes, gritting my teeth. "That is where everything got worse." She continued. I opened my eyes. "I thought it was going to be a normal fling with her like you always fucking do with the others. But nah. I was wrong. It was something more. Something different. Your stupid ass fell like a helpless simp that you fucking are."

I just stare at him before spitting on his shoes. Crouching down, I made my way into the cage. Before entering completely Kai pushes me in. Making me fall to the ground, scraping my knee. Trying to hold my breath, trying not to scream. Fuck, you dick. I turn around and made my way to the corner. Watching Kai lock the cage. “Pathetic human.” He says. Spitting into my cage before walking away.

"You are sulking. God, Kai. You are so cute and clingy. Did you know that your fangirls will come at an article like piranhas if I told them that you're cutest when you sulk? It's as if you are different from the man who paused his meeting to fuck me," I teased him. Kairos eyed me seriously as if he was giving me a fair warning that I should behave, but what would he do if I didn't feel like submitting to him?

I had to keep focused or there would be a round two. Not that I was against a round two, but I knew that Phoenix was waiting for us patiently. No, I could be a big girl.

Jaden said casually, leaning back, voice teasing and unbothered. Kai’s patience frayed, but he kept it contained. Eyes flicking around — every pair slowly turning toward them — he leaned toward his food. “Just do what you want. It’s not going to work. I’ll never let your dick inside me. Never.” Jaden grinned like he’d just won the lottery. “We’ll see about that… when you’re begging me to go faster.” Kai scoffed, standing abruptly, tray in hand. “Okay. Keep trying. Good luck.”

Cai Kang has been angry and even stopped training since that day. He hasn't been his cheery self when he does the things he likes or when he eats. However he goes back to school the next day and slowly things started to get back to normal. He is even coming to terms with Maiko’s possible death; however he cannot face Kurai without feeling some kind of guilt. It has also been a couple of days since Kurai hasn’t gone to class.

I say with little confidence, knowing if anything had to happen to her, if she were in any pain at all, I would fight Kai even if he is a trusted ally. He nods, then, before I can even react, Kai extends his claws and embeds them into the back of Umiko’s neck, and I am sure if she had a voice, she would have screamed. Both of their eyes roll back in their heads, and they remain like this, all while terrifying the fuck out of me. “What is he doing?” I ask Caterina while feeling anxious as fuck. She places a hand on my shoulder and is about to say something when her eyes do something similar, but then she takes a step back from me.

Kai gave me someone I could talk to when things at home with my mother were bad. Each night, when I went to sleep, I could escape to my dreams and be somewhere else, become someone else. My relationship with Kai has always been different from the one I have with Nico. Kai was the one who would listen and was gentle. Nico, on the other hand, would demand things and make me forget through the euphoric bliss of orgasms until I forgot my own name. I could see now that the times in my dreams when Kai and I were intimate, that the spark and burning desire I felt for Nico was just not there.
