Noah was at her side dressed as a superhero I couldn’t quite recognize. “Wow…” I muttered, my hand coming to my mouth as I gave a small smile trying to hide my amusement. “Noah…nice uh–costume.” The penguin jester costume he wore of blue, red, and white made him look like a mixture between a sexy funny man and a clown that had Fourth of July throw up all over him. He frowned, glancing at Becca, who obviously couldn’t be happier with his attire considering the smile on her face. However, it was clear by his reaction that he wasn’t the one who picked it out, which made it even funnier. “I told you—”

Willa grins. "I told you I was afraid of heights." I really can't believe I'm in Vegas, thanks to Willa, apparently her brand makes huge sale during this period, and she needed to visit her store here, it's one of her biggest. She dragged us with her, apparently this is the biggest party of the year, and our costumes are from her brand, of course. I'm dressed as Captain America, Will is Hull, Willa is Billie Eilish, and Zayn is Joker, we really are a set of clown.

"I still feel a little, obsolete, I guess, not wearing anything on a day like Halloween," I say, seeing as how many of the other teens in school are a little more special looking with colors they don't usually have placed into their attire. That's just the tame side of things, while other teens have gone all-out with the constumes. There's a T-rex and a fariy queen chatting and walking by, and in one of the doorways I can spot a teen in a bee costume. There's even a teacher who has a crazy-scientist wig on, who is merrily talking and holding up a pumpking for another faculty member, dressed in the star and moon robe of a wizard.

Dani trails along behind Asher as he walks a few step ahead of her, holding a boy by each hand. Nik is dressed as a teddy bear and Nate is dressed as a lion. Nate has a drawn on brown nose and whiskers thanks to a brown eyeliner pencil. Nik wanted his face colored on too, so she drew him a brown nose as well. With their fuzzy suits on, they both look so cuddlely that she could not stop hugging them. “Are we almost there, Daddy?” Nate asks Asher looking up at him with tired eyes.

"You like it?" Cai Kang truly feels like a pretty girl for the first time upon noticing. She is wearing a dark red kimono with bright orange branches with dark orange leaves in ombre fashion. Her hair is tied in a large bun with a dangling flower pin on the side. She feels beautiful and blushed upon realizing it. Since the festival will take place primarily at night, she decides to go as a girl but didn't know how to go out as one so she asks Noriko for help.

“Alright, what’s everyone going as? Oh oh oh we should be the Suicide Squad! Luna could be Katana and then Lexi and I could be Enchantress and June and then Axle and Six could be Joker and Harley and then you 5 can fight it out for Rick Flag, Deadshot, Boomerang, El Diablo and Killer Croc!” Everyone nods and the guys start calling their characters. Once we’ve worked that all out, we plan to go costume shopping tomorrow. When Halloween rolls around, I invite Six to come get ready at my place since she’s going to have to do all my makeup and my parents are at some kind of charity event all evening anyway.
