“He was trying to save us,” one of my men replied.
“Don’t worry about me, Alpha Karim. I do not fear death anymore,” Jago said, cutting me from asking further questions.
“No. You are not dying, Jago,” I assured him. “There is a healer here, and he will attend to you, alright?”
