Noah explains while I smile listening. "And I kind of wanted to know if you'll also be in Palm Springs." Noah adds and I smile. "You asked to be posted to the Palm Springs branch." I say grinning at him. "No I didn't." He says with a grin.

He told me he needed to sort out a few things," he mumbled softly and I nodded and sat as the dark cloud formed once again above myself. I twirled my index finger over the top of the table and sighed.

Noah rushed in, breathing heavily with alarm scribbled on his face and his eyes wide as saucers. “Is it true? That…” Noah paused as his eyes drifted towards Diana. His brows shot up in surprise, and he leaned back, waving his hand at her.
