Eyes black like the sea. It was me. Or something I once had been. It stretched my hand. But before it could touch me, Noah jumped. With last strength. He ripped me down. The being met him. Right in the chest. He cried. The black light penetrated him. I yelled his name. But Noah looked at me. Not panic. Not desperate. He smiled. A broken, beautiful smile. And whispered: “Now I remember.” The silver symbol on his hand lit one last time. Then the black being suddenly pulled together.

One week later… Noah sat on the couch, sipping alcohol and smoking cigarettes. His eyes were dark, red, and heavy, devoid of any emotion, only endless coldness on his face. His lips were tightly pursed. His long legs, clad in well-stitched black trousers, were casually crossed on the tea table in front of him. The top two buttons of his black shirt were undone, revealing his strong and masculine chest. The sleeves were rolled halfway, and a sparkling silver watch adorned his wrist. His mobile phone on the table vibrated incessantly, but Noah leisurely leaned back, ignoring everyone's attempt to disturb his peace. He had finally taken revenge on Neel Dixon.

A hole could be seen on his forehead. Ezequiel dropped his arm after the single shot. “Noah!” Hazel shouted holding him on her lap. “Noah!” she was shaking him wildly. The front of the t-shirt where he had cleaned her nose was now soaked in blood, the red stain was spreading quickly now. Noah was trying to say something, his hand was in the air but was only managing to open his mouth wide open for rugged breathing. “Noah!” Ezequiel was at their side sitting near her. His men must be taking care of other rogues but Hazel and Ezequiel both were beside Noah who closed his eyes after dropping down his arm.

She was pushed backward. Lucien caught her. “Are you okay?” Sophia nodded. “I’m fine.” Lucien looked at the Primordials. “That wasn’t even their strongest attack.” Sophia smiled. “Then we’ll have to be smarter.” Noah suddenly shouted: “Wait!” Everyone looked at him. He was staring at the Primordial King. “There’s something wrong.” Sophia asked: “What?” Noah’s third eye opened. He immediately began bleeding. “They’re not attacking us.” Sophia frowned.

Mariella: "How?" Noah: "My father saved Japan." Mariella: "He did?" Noah: "Yes." Mariella: "Does he have any more powers?" Noah: "Not that I know of." Mariella: "So he's normal?" Noah: "No." Mariella: "Like me?" Noah: "Yes. Like you." Mariella: "I don't understand." Noah: "I know. But someday, maybe we'll find out." Mariella: "Maybe we will."

With girls I probably don't even know? "It's not drama, dumb ass. It's called hygiene!" I cross my arms over his hoodie. "How could you let him?" "I didn't say I let him. I said he did it." The wheel finally brings us back to Earth and Gary unlatches the gate. Noah gets out first and then I follow, eager to get home now and strangle Giovanni myself. "You want anything else?" Noah asks, catching up to me. "Doughnuts? A drink?" "Nothing," I snap. "I want to go home."
