“We’ve arrived.” Noah glances at him, his expression unreadable, but there’s a flicker of impatience in his eyes. “Stay out here,” he says, his tone firm. Vox gives a mock salute. “Of course.” Sienna steps out of the car, her bare feet meeting the cool stone of the driveway. She doesn’t even realize she’s still missing her shoes until Noah’s sharp eyes take her in. “You’re not wearing anything,” he remarks, his tone a mix of exasperation and amusement.

Instinctively, Noah reached out to touch and lift her right foot not minding that his expensive suit might get stained in the process. “Hey!”, Lola chided as she tried to move her leg in an attempt to put it back in its place. “Stay still!”, Noah warned, then he pulled off her slipper in one swift motion. He rubbed softly on the injured spot. The plaster was still in place and there was no blood stain. It was almost healed up. “She is injured.” Noah thought with a frown. Yet she didn’t mind going out with an injury to spend time with that man.

I wanted to come out but one of the hazer raised his finger. I saw Conrad taking a deep breath before he opened his eyes again. He bend down collecting all scattered papers before going to Noah to get the last one. He crouched down on his knees and looked up to the man standing with his hands on hips. Those expressions on his face were screaming dominating. Conrad tried to hold his leg to lift his foot only to be stumbled back as Noah shook his leg from his hands. "Did i say leg"? "N.. No . Foo. Foot". Conrad said with a low voice. He gripped Noah's combat shoes before looking up again since Noah wasn’t in a mood to help him.

His head jerked to the side, like he was trying to shake something off, and for a second, his legs buckled beneath him.

Grabbing my sunglasses, I burst out of the door and stood on the edge of my small porch, bouncing on my toes as I waited for the truck to come to a halt. "Happy moving day!" Noah's grin was wide as he swung down from the driver's seat. His easy grace and lithe movements always impressed me; he was such a big guy, all solid muscle and incredible strength. He'd told me once that part of his training included ballet and yoga, because the position he played on the football field required agility. I could totally see that.

"Because I'm not getting on that thing. So guess all you want." Noah stared at her stubborn lips, now pressed together tightly. "Fine—one eighty." Her jaw dropped momentarily, and she seemed genuinely scandalized, but she composed herself quickly. "You two know how to stretch, right?" Nellie nodded, Veronica wouldn't even look at him. "Great. Start stretching, standing up. I'll go grab some mats so you can stretch on the floor too."

If there is a slight twist in the situation, I can throw Bran’s rebellion plan to Nash.” Noah squatted down after saying that and tied the weight on both of my feet. “It’s time to run, my dear. I’ll give you two minutes. Run as war as you can before your little fluff catches you.” “Five minutes.” I tried to bargain. “Thirty seconds then.” “Fuck you. Two minutes it is.”

The nurse joked around with her when she woke up and said that a dashing young man carried her there. Gwynn’s friend maintained her composure, but her cheeks were very hot to the touch. The next day, Noah visited her once with the beautiful lady from yesterday in tow. It just so happened that Gwynn was there too. She stood up immediately when she saw him and murmured. “Hi, Noah.” He cast a glance at her feet. She was wearing a shorter dress than yesterday. So, everything below her knees was for the enjoyment of everyone who laid eyes on her feet. Long, smooth, and fair. Her pair of feet looked like they jumped right out of a comic book.

" He asks shakily, fidgeting in his seat. "You know exactly what I'm talking about!...the children." Subtly he flicks a glance at the one-way mirror, checking on me. I pressed my palm to the glass, needing him to hurry up. I needed answers. The man doesn't answer for a while and Noah tired of waiting, calmly brings his leg down hard on the man's feet, breaking several bones in his feet and the man screamed his bloody lungs out. "I can go all day." Noah singsongs. "It's up to you to determine how long you want this to continue." He leans in on the crushed feet and presses down hard causing the man to whimper.

A few minutes later, Noah sent me a message. "Bro, don’t be mad at Mom. She actually cares about you. So does Pops. He’s just afraid you’ll spend money recklessly and pick up bad habits. Come back. I bought a bunch of new sneakers. I’ll give you a pair." He attached a photo. It was his shoe cabinet, which had rows upon rows of sneakers under bright lights, appearing dazzling and excessive. I saved the screenshot and replied, "Keep them for yourself. After all, your Pops said athletes need gear. They need the right setup. As for me, I’ve long been used to wearing old clothes."
