As she tried to walk into the empty tub, she tripped on her heel, straining her ankle as her body fell to the ground with a loud thud. The sound startled Noah who was now on his laptop working. He gently removed his eyeglasses as his eyes moved to the bathroom door. He sat down waiting for the next sound to assure him that she was fine but there was nothing. Slowly, he stood up from the desk, his feet padded softly on the ground towards the door. When he got to it, he knocked on it gently but there was still no sound, just the sound of the running shower. “Isla?” he called out, his voice rising from calm to an audible one.

Noah's POV After getting his sweatpants onto his right foot, I grabbed his left foot then slid the sweatpants on. I heard him take a sharp breath in as I grabbed his left foot. Once I got his sweatpants over his ankle I looked up at him to see what was wrong. He was looking at me with a shocked expression. His mouth was open as he stared at me. "Is, is s-something wrong?" I said, not sure of why he was acting like that.
