Siebel casually said while staring at Narrah who slightly nodded. Narrah slowly looked around the enormous room. A huge four-poster bed in the middle with two night tables on both sides, a receiving area with two soft couches which she doubts was ever used to accommodate visitors, a door she assumed was the bathroom, and another door leading to the balcony. A massive display cabinet occupies the whole wall of the receiving area. Hardbound books and several porcelain figures were neatly arranged from the floor up to the ceiling.

A canopy of sheer fabric was draped around the frame, adding a dreamy, intimate feel to the space. The windows here were just as large, framing the forest in all its glory. Heavy curtains hung on either side, their texture rich but understated. A reading nook occupied one corner, complete with a comfortable chair, a small table, and a lamp that cast a warm, inviting glow. “This is where we’ll all sleep,” Dean said, his voice low and filled with pride. “Together.” Nicola turned to him, her eyes wide. “It’s... perfect.” Her gaze shifted to the smaller doors lining one wall. “And these?”

Nora waved and was out of the room before they could ask her about food. Back in the boys' room, they had just finished unpacking and settling into the huge bedroom. The red walls filled the room with dread, one that doesn't sit well with Jamie, as if painting the walls red wasn't creepy enough, they had spread the beds with red sheets, the floor held a tick red rug, the only black colored furniture in the room was the sofas and the table.

There is some artwork on the walls, a large bookcase and some other knick knacks placed on sideboards and side tables placed around the room. To the right there are two doors. One is open and shows a large bedroom with the largest bed I have ever seen. Of course they need large beds when they are so...large. The closed door holds a small restroom with a sink and toilet, Lazarus informs me so I don’t bother to look in there.

The furniture was slightly mismatched but all of it was dark wood. There was a door partially open on the right side that was a bathroom, the light on was the only light in the room. On the wall to the left looked like sliding doors for a closet. As much as it was sparse, it did look lived in. There was a laundry basket in the corner that was partially full. A couple books were scattered around the different tables as well.

He hurriedly dropped his hands, causing my eyes to blur at first as they adjusted the light, not long before they started to make in the shapes and objects of my surrounding. “Kayden…” A small whisper left my lips as I took everything in. The white walls with pink and blue accents here and there. The two wooden cribs that were mounted right at the center of his vast bedroom and the chest drawers, and the nappy station with all kinds of baby stuff loitering the room were all I could see. Where his majestic bed once stood was a nursery rocking chair with a small white bookshelf stocked with different kinds of bedtime stories. Everything in here was just so perfect.

There were also pictures of the forest; some were of a misty early morning, some raining and others had beams of sunshine cutting through the canopy. The other corner had three bassinets, a changing table, and a little desk with some baby items on it. Walking over to the bassinets, I brushed the edge of them. Two had little unicorn mobiles hanging above them, whereas one had a wolf mobile.

I walked out of the room and passed the small dresser to the door on the other side of the space. Through the door was a large bathroom, with a soaking tub and a huge glass shower. There was another door straight across, so I opened that one as well and found that it led to another bedroom. This bedroom was decorated a lot more feminine, which made me curious, so I looked around. I finally found a clue on the wall in the form of a picture. There was a young Nikko, plain and clear, and then an even younger girl clinging onto his hand as a middle-aged man stood behind them, smiling.
