Nora Roberts Awakening Series Novels & Stories

She alighted at his house and went in without alerting anyone. “Dennis “ she called in the empty hall but no one responded. She proceeded to the bedroom and was shocked by what she saw. “WHAT!” she exclaimed with her eyes wide open. The two adulterous pair on my bed was awakened by her scream and got up. She would have never thought that her man will betray her with none other than her step-sister. And felt betrayed and left in anger

"I thought you said that it wasn't that easy or something and how exactly are you supposed to awaken him. Your dad has been badgering me for months for me to awaken him and I'm like I don't know how and suddenly you do." Cassian glanced away from me as I rambled. "Oh, I get this adds to the list of things that you are still not telling me, doesn't it," I openly accused him and he had the audacity to remain quiet. "I am way too sleepy for this shit," I grumbled walking across the room. "It's not like that. I've been…experimenting, listening to all that Kylen has to share," he said defensively, finally! "Yeah, he thinks that you will have a greater chance of winning if you awaken him yourself

Nora woke at five forty five. She had not set an alarm. Her body simply knew that something significant was about to happen and pulled her out of sleep twenty minutes before it did. She lay in the dim room of the apartment they had moved to and listened to Lily breathing in the next bed and watched the ceiling and waited. At six her phone lit up. A notification from the newspaper's app. The headline read: The Woman Ethan Blackwood Left Behind — And What It Cost Them Both.

Nora woke up covered in a sweat. She couldn't help but let out a sharp groan from her lips as she ran her hand over her face. She squinted her eyes as she looked around the room and tried to adjust her vision. She cursed slightly under her breath when she was quick to come to the realization that she had only managed to sleep for a few hours. She sighed as she slowly sat up in the lumpy mattress. She clicked her fingers and watched as the red glowing light in her hut came alive. She glared at it in irritation as it seemed theee faus that it almost constantly showed her emotions of distress.

She wasn’t a lost woman returning quietly. She came for a reason. For Maxwell. For revenge. For chaos. Or for something far more dangerous. I closed my eyes and breathed through the tightness in my chest. I had always been prepared for threats—competitors, scandals, greedy relatives—but not this. Not resurrection. Morning crept in through the windows, pale and cold. I hadn’t slept a minute. Every nerve remained on edge. At exactly five, Nora arrived. She looked startled when she saw me fully dressed, hair fixed, makeup perfect—as if I had risen hours before dawn.

Damian's pov I walked out of the walk-in closet, fastening my wristwatch. As I shifted slightly, I spotted sprawled on the edge of my bed, her dark hair cascading over the sheets like a waterfall of shadows. The confusion on her face as she stirred awake. It was a sight I had come expect but still found oddly endearing. "Nora's already headed to school. You can sleep in," I said, my voice low and husky, cutting through the morning stillness. The way she shuddered at the sound made something stir within me.

Far from the palace, beyond the lush forests and guarded borders of the kingdom, nestled in the jagged cliffs where the sun barely touched the land, lived a woman cloaked in shadows. Nora. Her beauty mirrored Aurora’s—identical in every way down to the celestial blue of her eyes and the cascade of dark hair. But where Aurora’s presence brought warmth and light, Nora radiated cold ambition and eerie stillness. Raised in the hidden covens of the dark witches, she had never known love or mercy. Her life had been shaped by rituals, curses, and the hunger for power. The witches whispered a prophecy from the moment she could walk: The moon bore two, but only one shall rise.

Everywhere was dark when she woke up, she was no longer in the Zodak packhouse. Nora's head pounded, her body felt weak, and the sharp scent of earth and damp stone filled her nose. “Where am I?” She asked, opening her eyes slightly. With chains bounding her wrists tightly, which glow faintly with silver runes that suppressed her wolf within. She could feel a scary shadow loomed over her, she closed her eyes and reopen them again for a clearer vision, then she found herself staring at a face she hadn’t seen in years.

"I typed back. When I was about to put away my phone, my eyes flashed at the top of it. The time was 5 a.m.Shit! I had slept all through. I didn’t even wake up. That was weird. I always slept like a dog. I was either half asleep or half awake.I stood up and walked to the bathroom. After using the bathroom, I walked to the sitting room of the suite and saw Nora. She was cuddled up like a baby on the couch. Her hair cascades down to the floor. It gave me a clearer view of her.As she slept, I couldn’t help but notice how she looked peaceful. Not the hard lines on her face, showing how pissed she was at me. Not the fake smile she always had when she was trying to cover up how tired she was. Noth

"Maybe he's still asleep. You know he's a night crawler. He must be in bed by now." Well, that was a good point. My half-brother, Robert was always partying. Except he had changed in the last few years—which was unlikely—he should be in deep slumber in a drunken state now. But what about Nora? That woman was restless. She was always up early to do whatever even though she had many maids at her beck and call. She should have seen the mail, right? Fuck! Did she wave it aside as a prank? My anxiety was shooting through the roof now. I refreshed my inbox over and over again. I was this close to throwing the phone away when two new emails popped on the screen.
