Captured by the Alpha King

Captured by the Alpha King

“Your kind is familiar with runes, right?” “Of course,” Owen answers for both of us. I slept through that class in school. “The spell on the queen uses runes from Tyr’s aett; you’re familiar with Tyr?” Jonah pauses to check. “The Norse god of war. He sacrificed his arm to trap Fenrir,” Owen says. “That,” I agreed quietly. “Well, Tyr’s aett is all over her.” Jonah points his finger at Owen. “And you are bound with etheric chains.” Owen shakes his head. “I’m unfamiliar with the term.”

The Strongest God of War

The Strongest God of War

Greg asked, getting annoyed at his friend's ramblings. One of the people sitting in front of him also said, "Knox, are you stupid?" "What do you mean?" Knox asked, not accepting being called stupid. "This is William Mackenzie, the God of Death. A legend who has been said to have never lost a war. Even when he used the name Bill Stewart, he proved himself worthy of being a war general. How can you still doubt his ability? You're crazy!" the man said without looking back.

Cursed by the Gods: Cleopoda CBTG Book 1

Cursed by the Gods: Cleopoda CBTG Book 1

Moving towards the north of the troops were the archers who moved behind boulders and other obstacles previously set up by lower-ranking soldiers where they will shoot burning arrows at them thereby slowing down the enemy army. Octavius looked up and with the powers given to him by Ashterah he saw the war goddess rise above the entire army, her golden quiver slung over her shoulder to her back filled with golden arrows, her golden bow was set firmly in her hands. Beside her was her half-brother Nukis god of destruction ready with his thunderbolts, a power given to him by his father Robos; Horoda, goddess, and ruler of powers under the earth with her golem army set to rain heavy blows on the

Then I heard it the hissing chant off in the distance (what did it mean). Skoll is the name of the wolf Who follows the shining priest Into the desolate forest, And the other is Hati, Hrodvitnir's son, Who chases the bright bride of the sky. "They are the two wolves from norse mythology one who chases the sun and the other one who chases the moon, ragnarok starts after one eats the sun and the other eats the moon and the world serpent eats Thor and Fenrir will swallow Odin" Lagertha tells me

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

They were the Gods of War of Somerland, legends made flesh. At the center of the formation stood Elysia Fang, the Goddess of War. Clad in formidable armor that gleamed like forged iron, she radiated a serene yet fearsome authority. Her intense gaze, hardened by countless battles, was tempered by her unwavering loyalty to Somerland.

Rogues and Royals

I shook my head, the idea preposterous. “If Nix is real, why can’t other religions have real Gods?” My mom pointed out, making me stop and second guess myself. “How did she anger them?” I finally asked. “Fenrir; the God of destruction.” The weight of the name sent a shiver down my spine, the air becoming noticeably cooler. “Nix was betrothed to him but broke it off when she fell for Nox. Odin chained and bound Fenrir under the earth on the promise that Nix depart and never return once her human lover died.”

Brodi huffed out a breath, shocked at his own ineptitude in getting a simple point across. He glanced back up at her and saw a glimmer of humor in her green eyes. She was laughing at him. At him! He sat up a little straighter not sure how to react. The Alpha in him wanted to be insulted and act accordingly, but making his mate happy, even at his own expense, gave him a warm feeling in his middle. He wasn't used to all these conflicting emotions. He cleared his throat before starting to speak again. "Yes, well…" "You know your name is old Norse, yes?" Kelda interrupted. "Fenrir. A son of the god, Loki. It's a very powerful name. A very powerful wolf."

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

“I sense mischief magic. Very subtle and old.” I already don’t like where this is going. “How old?” She sighs deeply. “Norse old,” she says. “Trickster kind of old. Possibly Loki old.” I blink. “You’re telling me the actual Norse god of chaos is leaving change on our porch?” She snorts in laughter before shrugging. “Possibly.” She looks far too unbothered. “Maybe it’s a test. Or a message.” I glare at her. “From a god.” She holds up her hands, in a what-do-you-want-me-to-do-about-it kind of way. “I said possibly.”

Wolf's Bane: Moonlit Forbidden

Wolf's Bane: Moonlit Forbidden

Ivone sat cross-legged on the edge of her bed, scrolls scattered across the duvet in a mess of faded ink and brittle parchment. Her brow was furrowed in concentration as her eyes scanned the lineages and war treaties laid out in the fragile Nyxorian script. So much of it still didn’t make sense—the names, the secrets, the deliberate omissions. She was just about to cross-reference a note on Annora Valtor when the sudden, echoing blast of a war horn shattered the silence.

He got to live without it, always following him like a shadow. "Exactly." I nodded, finishing my drink. "You aren't looking at it the same way as I am, Androkles." he sighed. "And how are you looking at it?" I cocked an eyebrow. "Born of lightning, we know that part is referring to being the son of Nikos." He began his breakdown. "A destroyer emerges. That could just be speaking that you would become Ares. As God of War, he is often seen as a destroyer." He pointed out that I'm finding it hard to argue with the logic.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!
