he nods his head in understanding and again kisses the top of my head before leaving me. I'm going to have to ask him why he does that, why does he always kiss the top of my head instead of my forehead, cheek or even nose like most creeps do. Before he drew back, he planted one more kiss on the end of my nose, causing a light giggle to spill from my lips.

Our faces were dangerously close, and the temptation was overwhelming. Then, I looked around and saw Caleb dancing with a human woman. Their lips were softly touching. A wave of confusion coursed through my body. “What are they doing, Hunter?” Hunter looked in Caleb and the woman's direction, his eyes filled with understanding. “That's a kiss, Fierce. Humans often do it during a dance.” I furrowed my brow, trying to understand. “A kiss? But what is a kiss?” Hunter sighed gently, as if considering how to explain it to me. “A kiss is a gesture of affection and tenderness. It usually involves touching your lips to someone else's lips.”

“I’m not betting on how the date is going to end, if that’s what this is going to be about.” “No, actually, I was going to bet you twenty bucks that I could kiss you without using my lips.” Her nose crinkled up as she frowned. “That’s impossible. You can’t kiss someone without using your lips,” she countered. I waited, letting her think about it while silently praying she hadn’t seen this trick before. “Alright, yeah, I’ll take that bet,” she suddenly agreed, smiling confidently.

I don’t think Nate knew what he was asking. I began to shake my head no. “I won’t kiss you on the lips.” “Just a peck?” He was trying to negotiate. “Maybe you could kiss me on the hand,” I countered, and waved my hand in front of his face.
