There's not much activity in the training grounds - I guess everyone is still on patrol or whatever other duties Lorenzo and his band of miscreants have assigned them. I'd love to surprise the girls, but I'm pretty sure one of them would draw attention to me and that's the last thing I need right now. I watch from a distance as Megs and Amy return from whatever they had been assigned, looking just as tired and depressed as Kane, Matt and Daniel had. I bet they can't wait for their service to end! Well now, it's his turn to step outside his comfort zone. My dilemma was, do I alter my plans for the series and give them their own book, or keep it to another novella. After much internal debate and arguing with myself, I've decided on the latter. There is one more book in this series before I move on to other projects and adding another entire book just isn't in the cards right now. Nor am I certain the story I want to tell warrants a full-length novel.

No need for another awkward conversation. Once in my room, I hop back in bed and take my book off my nightstand and start reading. Currently, I'm reading the series called 'A Court of Thorns and Roses'.
