The alpha king glared at him. " You dare stand before me and speak of my death. Do you know what this place is? This was where I killed the old lady. Sophia witnessed it and ran. This place was where you had your first meeting to dethrone me. " He paused and smiled. " And this is where I will start clipping your wings. I let you fly too high. " " What?" Ruckus smiled. " Try and see." " Do you know how strong a werewolf can become after killing?" The alpha king released his claws and started walking to the oak tree.

"Where were you before?" "A human." The handsome man let out a laugh. "That's really awesome. How has the transition been?" "Not as easy as I'd hoped," she said. "I remember when it happened to me. It was pretty rough." "You're a turned wolf?" Clara was surprised. "I went camping for a weekend back in the eighties. An outcast attacked, killed all my friends and left me for dead." "And you're an alpha?" Clara thought about James' comments about turned wolves. She didn't think one could rise in the ranks.

Drew said in a playful tone after seeing that Kyle had ended the call. About two hundred years ago, a war broke out between the rogue Vampires and Werewolf's. Kyle's past self, Duke Kile Chen was among those who fought in the war. At that time, the Werewolf's defeated the Vampires and soon, they seemed to coexist without any troubles. But now, it still seemed like there was bad blood lingering in the air because of Grey Jang the vampire who seeked revenge. Unbeknownst to Kyle, there was another creature who seeked revenge also. War awaits...

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN *** MEI'S POV *** This guy is out of his fucking mind. Genuinely what the fuck? Just when I thought we might actually start getting along, he decides to pull of this stunt? I mean I know I'd eventually have to appear with him in public but I didn't think it'd happen so soon. Plus, we'd agreed to let each other know weeks before. This is taking me off guard and I don't like being caught off guard.

I flipped the second page open and began reading. “After finding his mate and claiming her as his, the alpha moved to make it known under the crimson moon.” Though I had a foggy mind while reading the first sentence, my mind put the words together to make sense. This was a werewolf lore book just like the ones I’ve devoted myself to reading in the last week, but unlike those, this was a children’s book. I snapped it shut, got up, and hurried away from Zion’s room. I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed.

Maybe I was imagining it, but the library suddenly felt at least ten degrees warmer. I focused my attention back on the books in front of me, now that Cole had added a few. I could feel his gaze still on me, but I tried to ignore it as best as possible. Then I turned a page and the book really did grab my entire attention. On the pages I found a record of all the packs of the werewolves, not just the Grandmoon Pack. I turned the page, hoping to find some record of the Western Pack. Sure enough, there was indeed a record of the western pack, but it was just a few sentences.

Mj gasped and stumbled back, ripping the bottom edges of her dress as dozens of walkers breached her line of sight, Theron howled and Mj looked around as Ed, Ace, and Jay charged toward the horde in their fully shifted forms. SIERRA’S POV “Are you ready for your birthday?” I took a glance at my friend, Shelly, who was more excited than I was. My eighteenth birthday will be held in 2 days' time. And I am a bit nervous about what will happen that time. I will shift to a werewolf form and I will be able to meet my wolf. That time also, I might be able to meet my mate. In which I hope there will be Asher, my boyfriend of two years already. He is my first love, and, of course, he is the Alpha’s son, and me, Sierra Marie Finnegan, the Beta’s only daughter. I have no idea where they came up with that ridiculous name – there are no springs here, and the water is muddy and rotten. The little pack of werewolves that reside in this town is some of the strangest wolves I’ve ever come across. They keep to themselves, rarely roaming outside the confines of their territory, and I’m yet to see one of them shift. Maya and Edric are in the small pack house just outside the village square. It’s a quaint little two-storey face brick house, built on the only high ground there is around these parts. These wolves pose no danger to me.
