A storm of emotions churned behind his eyes, but the only words that made it out were, "It's been a while." I smiled. "It really has."

"It doesn't matter anyways. I have another homework for you" I sighed. But louder than intended. "Oh, are you tired? Ugh, ugly Betty." she grabbed a handful of my hair, tugging at it. "Just remember who you are and where you stand in this school." Everyone else in the class had turned to watch. Some had their phones out and were recording. "YOU. ARE. A. FUCKING. CHARITY. CASE" she said drawing out the words more than necessary.

A loud uproar broke out among the students. Claire chuckled behind her. "This is exactly our expression when we were informed about it too, I totally forgot to prep you, I'm sorry," she said. "No! No! This can't happen, No! How do I reach my family? My phone is the only way I get to know if they are doing okay," Kimberly cried. "I'm sorry but there's nothing you can do about it," Claire said. A drop of tear rolled down kimberly's cheeks.

Lan declared, not interested in talking about the subject matter again but Fred replied “Dad would understand if I explained things to him. The one that won't understand is you” As Lan and Fred were together, Alex stormed into the ward where Nathan and Fiona were:
