“Stay here until I tell you to run. And then you run. Fast. Do you understand? He feels her nod. Slowly, he steps out of the elevator. And the Hybrid steps closer too. The growl in his chest became louder. The Hybrid started to walk. Slowly– taunting him. Remus walked too, determined to put enough distance from him and Eden. Then the Hybrid ran. Remus stopped and shouted his command, “Run!” Eden took off to the other wing of the building. She knew something was wrong. Remus felt different. The hooded figure terrified her to the bones and so did Remus. So when he shouted for her to run, she did. But he didn’t tell her not to look back– which she also did.

I am so utterly screwed beyond recognition. Nonetheless, I run. I run like my life depends on it because really, it might actually be the case. After what seemed like minutes of running, I looked around and saw nothing but the exact same thing everywhere I turned. What the hell? Is this just an endless maze of tall trees in darkness? Fuck! I can’t breathe anymore! When you’ve been starved and are close to just becoming skin and bones, you’re certainly not made for running. Or any other physical activity for that matter.

Just the dark and the cold and two people on a path in the early morning before the city had remembered to start. He had not run this path before he left. And this time I was the one doing the running. Though I wasn’t running from Rayell. She was already caged up. Rather I was running from her feeble body that was threatening to give up. Prologue I was running while walking so I could get to arrive at the right time because I was already running out of time while I was hugging the three thick books that I had just borrowed from our school library earlier. I did not mind the number of people I ran across to as well as the other people who already had nudged my arm. Even the dirty, hard, bad smells of smoke coming from the vehicles passing by on my side that I can easily smell, and also the heat of the sun that almost hurt my skin, I still did not even notice or mind those because I was more busy running. I am sure that my face was already red because of the intense heat of the sun that was really almost burning my skin right

I have never had to do this before, guys don’t ask for my number. “I’m not the one running while looking in another direction, if anything you are the strange one.” He chuckles “And I don’t mean any harm, really, I just enjoy running early and it’s rare to find someone else that does the same.
