Ford stepped out. He was putting on a loose slack and shirt. “Mr. Ford,” I whispered, as my eyes locked with his, and all I could remember was the anger in his eyes on the night he fired me. Nicole caught on immediately, and stepped in front of me. “I know Jiu-jiutsu, Mr. Ford,” Nicole warned. “Don't think for a second that I'll let you hurt my friend,” Nicole said, as Mr. Ford rounded the car to where Nicole and I stood awkwardly at the side.

Why was he being so distanced? Hanks was driving, and Oscar was sitting on the passenger’s seat. I tapped on the passenger’s seat. “Oscar, my cellphone.” He stretched it to me. I needed to see the news about me. My eyes dilated seeing the trending news. #LOCAD was trending at number one. I can’t believe they already had a name for us already. As I read through the news, it felt as if my eyes were about to bulge out of their sockets. I turned to face Caden.”You…you’re the CEO of Ford Group?”

I didn’t want something Oxford style extravagant, just something nice, and reliable, that would get Rosie and I around the country, to explore more than the dereliction of this crappy estate and the modest size of Worcester city centre. Getting into the old Ford and taking it for a test drive months after having abandoned my vehicle at home was quite an experience. I had no idea how much I’d missed it. I had the vendor at my side pointing out the benefits, but I largely ignored him, tuned in to just how good it felt to be on the road again. I couldn’t wait to take Rosie out in it.

But it was never the right time. After her talk with Isabel, Nancy took her 3-month old Nissan truck in for it's first oil change, Getty had given her a free "full service" coupon. It was still morning and Getty worked evenings, but in the lot she saw a Ford F-150 that looked just like Getty's. When she asked she was told it belonged to a customer.

She checks the license plate like she’s in a crime documentary. We get in and head straight. *** FORD CORPORATION gleams across the glass facade like it owns the city. I know the Corporation's run by Colin Ford, who’s been rumoured to run for the United States of America's next presidency. As we step out of the car and step in the building, I swear my heart skips. The air smells like ambition and luxury, like expensive cologne and secrets. "Don’t get lost, Sky,” Mrs. Lawrence mutters. “The receptionist’s over there.”

According to what Ford said, the members are not always together, so Warren stood a good chance of finding one of the Fire Fangs if he headed there now. Warren made up his mind. He then headed to a local dealership to buy a car. He couldn't depend on the old Toyota Yaris that his uncle used to drive. Especially when he had a 6-hour trip ahead of him. At noon that afternoon, Warren walked out of the dealership, owner of a brand new Audi S6. It has to be said, he grew fond of the brand, since Allison gave him the A3 back in Flemond.

When I did, I noticed Ford had fallen asleep as well, holding my foot like it was his favorite stuffed animal. He probably never had a stuffed animal. Or toys. Did he have toys? Did he have fun? Like ever? Except for when he took walks through the snow. Like, come on, that’s fucking sad. A walk is his nicest memory. A walk! Did he have warm clothes? Did he, no… no… Don’t think like that, Niv, or you’ll start to cry, and you can’t go home looking like you’ve cried. “Darling? Why are you sad?” Ford opened his eyes and looked at me.

“No kisses for you!” Since both of his hands were around my waist, keeping me firmly against him, he only had his teeth to use. “Come on, you two. Get in.” Cade shook his head, but he was smiling at us. “Oh? We are all riding together?” That got me to drop my hands and look at Cade. He had brought his fancy truck. Some blacked out 2025 Ford looking thing. “Yeah, I wanted to drive this since I just got it in. The new Ford F-150 Platinum.”

was the reply from Avery. “Maingate? What have I gotten myself into?” Fredrick exclaimed. Although Greenville was a beautiful city, Maingate wasn’t a great location for residential areas. It was the outskirts of Greenville, but the deal had already been drawn. He picked up his car key and headed to the garage, he had especially picked a more expensive care for the occasion- Ford B29, the latest edition of Ford Focus.

Clint noticed her perplexed expression and continued, “Mr. Ford wanted you to have that. Consider it a pre-wedding gift.” “Mr. Ford has also arranged a new Porsche Cayenne for you with the mastery of artificial intelligence technology and self-driving capabilities and would like to know if you’ll be needing a driver,” Clint asked, staring at her expectantly. “Mrs. Ford?” He called, this time more softly. “Yes?” Hannah replied, breaking out of her thoughts. “Will you be needing a driver?” Clint asked again. Hannah stared at him and her expression softened, “What about you?” She said with a taunting smile.
