Tyler gazed at Stephanie's smile in confusion. Still, he continued to explain, "You should know that the Fords of Jetterpolis is one of the Four Powerhouses. With Kiara around, I'll be able to reap more benefits from my collaboration with them." "Ah, I see." Stephanie continued smiling at him. "Then I hope that you can get what you wished for in advance, Mr. Grover."

I stepped out of the Manor; the parked car looked like a new model of Tess, the most expensive vehicle I wished to buy. “You like cars?” Yuri asked as she caught my gaze at the vehicle. I nodded with a smile. I looked at her and then around to see if Mr. Ford was there, but he was not. “Looking for something.” Yuri’s brown eyes twinkled with amusement. “I want to thank Mr. Ford if he is busy,” I asked. Yuri nods solemnly.

Narrator’s POV— In the Ford Mansion, Mr Jason Ford has returned early because he has received a call from his old friend and business associate Mr Harrison Walker! Though the Fords were the richest in the country but the Walkers were a very old and famous family of Odessa and they had a close relationship with the Fords! Millions of business transactions happen in between the Fords and the Walkers and also because of their popularity, Mr Harrison Walker was a very important person on whom Mr Jason was depending a lot! The Walkers support was almost indispensable for Jason to not only win the election and become the Mayor, but he needed their support to remain in the position!

Later that evening, the dining hall of Hades New York estate theilled with a different kind of tension. Hades and Claudine were at dinner, but the atmosphere shifted dramatically with the arrival of Ford, the Irish Don. He was a powerfully built man with keen, intelligent eyes, a deceptive charm, and a suit as sharp as Hades’s own. “Hades,” Ford greeted, his voice a smooth, cultured brogue, extending a hand to meet Hades. “Good to see you, my friend. It’s been too long since that marvellous car exhibition in Monaco. Still got that violet Mustang, I trust? Only three produced in the world, if memory serves.”

Every corner is in black except the bed sheets and it makes the atmosphere appear gloomy and moody in an Emerson Ford style. There are shelves of books on one side and a desk next to the shelves. A smile climbs on my face as I look back to Emerson before looking back at the shelves – Ford never strikes me as a guy who enjoys reading and it comes as a surprise that he has books with him. I gnaw on my lips as I move from the bed and take quiet steps to the other side. I pick up a book and my eyes widen barely at the cover and the label. Looking through the shelves, the rest are novels too— both old and new. Who could have thought Emerson Ford read novels? Romance ones to be exact.

Lena said to the blonde boy staring at a particular building, his eyes filled with interest— and longing as Matteo stopped the car at the red light. He ignored Lena. Or, more like, he was too busy ogling the mansion to have heard what she had said. Lena watched him as he rubbed the side of his pants. Her gaze followed his to the mansion, she'd known too well. The Fords resided there. It was their family home. Everyone knew the Fords just as much as they knew the Joshes. Although, the Fords lived a more lousy life than the Joshes ever did. Every week, they were either buying a new Yacht or purchasing an item that cost eight to ten figures.

It didn’t seem to be anywhere. He flew out the door, throwing open the door to the 1964 Ford F100 he had bought for cheap and fixed up when he’d first arrived. He kept his cab immaculately clean, so it was easy to see the phone was not anywhere in plain sight. He felt beneath the seats, scoured the glove compartment, and searched anywhere and everywhere the phone might have fallen. Again, it was nowhere.

Ford rushed out of the cave with the Master Steel Sword in his hand! He did not want to kill those people earlier, but he did not expect them to be so vicious that they would try to kill them with poisonous fumes. "He’s out! Release the arrows!" As soon as Ford reached the cave entrance, he heard a loud cry from outside. Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Countless arrows were shot out like raindrops falling from the sky. Clang! Clang! Clang!

“I didn’t know Cory was dating anyone seriously.” “Yeah, came out of nowhere,” Ford said, taking a large gulp of wine. “Some girl he met at his art opening. Swept him off his feet, apparently. But I’ve seen this movie before. Pretty young thing latches onto a Steele, suddenly there’s a diamond on her finger, dollar signs in her eyes, and a baby in the oven.”

The electronics alone were amazing. “Like it?” I had to keep myself from kissing the leather. “How could I not? She’s beautiful.” The corner of his lips tilted up. “She?” “Well Carmen, my car, is a she, so it’s habit.” He chuckled. “What type of car is Carmen?” This would show the exact difference in our worlds. “A 1999 Ford Focus.” He didn’t bat an eye at her age or model. “Named Carmen?” “Yes. She’s reliable and gets me from point ‘a’ to point ‘b’. I don’t know what I’ll do when she’s gone. They don’t make ’em like her anymore.”
