The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

Hendrick didn't agree with me going alone at first but I immediately opposed the idea of him tagging along. He just accompanied me until I got to the library. He bid his goodbye. He must have felt that I am distancing myself from him. That is hurting me, but that is what is the best for us and my heart. Although it was just an excuse that I would read in the library to avoid him, I read fantasy books. I like a book called 'Please I Want to Have Fun by xxJabami.' It has the same situation I am in, but the ending is happy and not like what I am right now.

Santo said as we walked along the path, “what do you do for fun? You must be bored being cooped up in there all day.” I smiled faintly. “I don’t really have a hobby. But... I like reading novels.” He groaned dramatically. "Okay, that’s too boring." "Novels aren’t boring!" I retorted, folding my arms. He gave me a teasing look. It was a section of the library dedicated entirely to novels, a vast treasure trove of fiction from around the world.
