Si Celestine Pearl Quintana, ipinalaki sa mayamang pamilya ngunit hindi naramdamang kabilang siya rito. Mayroon siyang kambal na may sakit sa puso (Heart disease), kaya laging abala sa pag aasikaso ang kaniyang mga magulang, na halos wala ng oras para alalahanin siya simula pagkabata. Dahil sa masaklap na pangyayari ay binigyan siya ng tadhana ng pangalawang pagkakataon para mabuhay, at bumangon sa kaniyang hukay. Ipinangako niya sa kaniyang sarili na balang araw ay kakalabanin niya ang kompanya na pinakamamahal ng kaniyang daddy, at papanorin ang pagbagsak nila. Ngunit paano kung matutunan niya sinasabi nilang tunay na pag-ibig at tuluyan itong maunwaan dahil sa isang misteryosong lalake? Mananaig parin ba ang galit, o kakalimutan niya ang lahat.

Itinakwil at inalisan ng karapatan ng sariling pamilya dahil kasalanan na kaniyang nagawa. Sa paglipas ng panahon ay sinubukan niyang mamuhay sa isang lugar na malayo sa kaniyang ginagalawan pero sinugrado pa rin ng pamilya niya na walang makakatulong sa kaniya. Hanggang sa nakilala at minahal niya si Cris- ang amo niya na ubod ng sama ng ugali.  Matututunan kaya siyang mahalin ni Cris sa kabila ng estado nila at pagkakaiba.  Paano kung isang araw bumalik ang pamilya niya na tumakwil sa kaniya at dala ng mga ito ang balitang gigimbal at susubok sa pagmamahal niya, makikinig ba siya sa pamilya niya at iiwan ang lalaking nagsilbi niyang katuwang noong tinalikuran siya ng lahat or mananatili siya sa tabi nito hanggang sa ito na ang sumuko dahil sa nakaraan na hindi nito makalimutan?

Wala nang sasakit pa ang itakwil ka ng sarili mong mga magulang dahil mas pinaniniwalaan ng mga ito ang taong itinuring niyang tunay na kaibigan. Ang akala ni Nicole na mapabuti ang buhay sa tulong ni Danica ay kabaliktaran ang nangyari. Ginamit siya nito upang matupad ang ambisyon sa buhay—ang maikasal sa isang arogante at may pusong bato na si Steven. Hindi na nagtaka si Nicole kung bakit nagawa siyang traidurin ng kaibigan dahil sa lalaking ito. Bukod sa milyonaryo na, angkin pa nito ang katangiang kinababaliwan ng kababaihan sa isang lalaki. After six years, babalik si Nicole upang agawin ang bagay na inangkin ni Danica, kasama na ang lalaking nagbitaw ng isang salitang hindi siya karapat-dapat maging ina ng anak nito.

He was having fun, she could see the glint in his eyes and she knew it was only the beginning of her misery, but her stupid self was excited that a powerful wolf like Sebastian Knight accepted her as his mate. It was all she ever dreamed of, even though they were the only ones who knew about it.
